If you knew anything about China, you would know it's not that bad. Sure, there are people who are literal "slaves," the sweat shop workings, child control, etc, but the standard of living is probably the highest in all the communist countries and it's continuing to rise. They have the fastest growing economy in the world N. Korea is a different story. They're a poorer country, and they are more socialististic than most other countries. I don't know enough about them to make a correct statement, though.

The "Idea" of democracy is that the people run the government. The Modern Reality of Democracy is that the people have to rely on other idiots to represent them, who could petition their case or not. But I agree, It's not up to us to decide what to do with their country. We don't "own" Iraq, it's not our territory, it's not our state. Anyway, I'm ranting now, and Cheeseman or MSEagle is going to try to come up and disprove me really fast here so bleh.

We think what is happening is good for them. And for a country, it is. Only problem is, you just have to take into account the fact that they have lived under dictators for centuries. They've based their culture around that, and that means that we're forcibly trying to change that. I'm not saying it's bad, just that it is probably against some of the peoples culture. We hear conflicting reports about whether they like us or not. So, I don't care, I jsut believe we ned to find some way to end it. With a sect of a religion out against us, it's not going to be easy, of course, no matter how small it is.
