  1. I think i have a book or two lying somewhere around my place, but it's been awhile since i've had interest in them, to much time spent on SW games i guess Games list: X-Wing X-Wing: Alliance Rogue Squadron Rebellion/Supremacy Galactic Battlegrounds + Clone Campaigns Empire at War Battlefront II Republic Commando ( Love this game ) KOTOR I + II JK:O JK:JA
  2. The Game lacks depth in both space and ground aspects, no doubt there. Minor bugs stil seem to plague the game but given that it's only been out for a week, i'll let it slide off until sometime next month when the ramblings about the imbalance and bugs have become a sea of anti-redundance gamers, waving their pitchforks and torches at PG for patch updates... Currently the most annoying feature i can come about is the fact that you can't decide which units will start in the battle. When i play rebels i usualy get a truckload of fighters with 1 corvette and 2 capital ships(MC, AF, Neb-F). Then the computer pulls forward with 3 tartans and bam, 0 fighters/bombers left on my side, even when i pull them back behind my corvette and capitals to make them draw their fire but nooh, they go straight for my fighters and within secs of comming in range of my fighters the tartans commit suicide by turning on their "Boost Weaponry power" ability and, well, you can imagen the results.... I was hoping the game would have had some more depth and character to it but it getting dull very fast... I just hope some near future expansion will change the game drasticly for the betterment of itself and not just add more content... Morphium.
  3. Well, completed the Rebel and the Imperial Campaigns on Medium so i guess i'll just drop my 2 cents worth of oppinionated brainwaves. I am overly dissapointed with the game. The campaigns are decent, but for some reason i think they are too short really to cover the events that has transpired in the SW universe since 1979. The campaigns have their moments but there are some minor imbalance issues that just negate most good moments, so overall, i must say that i am dissapointed. Just gonna mention some of the things i'm less the pleased with. -Character Voice acting. There are only 2 characters in the entire game that sounds like they should, Artoo and Mothma... /cry. Listening to Vader and the Emperor was almost a flat out reason to uninstall right on the spot!. Initialy i thought that the battle repetativeness wouldn't be that high... [/Rethink] Guess i miscalculated cause damn i am tired of space battles seing the ships blow up the same way over and over again and again... Ground Battles....nuff said. I must admit that the weeks following up to EAW, i was in a rather good SW mood. I went through the pile of games and pulled out every game i owned with the words "Star Wars" on em', and then i played. From FPS, to RTS, to RPG to A to Z and then back again. When i was done with that, i watched all 6 episodes in sequencial order just to get the facts straight. At release day i was really looking forward to getting some good fun with EAW but after about 2 hours i was tediously tired of the repetativeness the game offered. -Grafic wise, the game is good, but sadly it falls short of impressing anyone but a drunk eskimo and his headless pinguin when it comes to the explosions and laser animations. Really, what on earth are they shooting with in this game?, red paper straws that somehow has a built-in device that negates gravity, wind and time factors?. Look at their speed!, the only laser that fires a realistic speed is the AT-AT, everything else looks like they are fireing in slow-mo, Matrix style movement... Lasers and explosions in space = makes baby jesus and the 3 holy men cry while marie is going ROFLMAO. How the lasers look now in motion to the gamespeed: -TO.FREAKING.SLOW!. When you see a Neb-B Frigate and a Vic-SD duking it out on the broadside of the bar, you want some intens action and nailbiting fire exchanging between the two ships, but now, You get your red and green snowballs from hell which in turn move as fast has Apollo 13 moved when it was 10 feet above the moon!. To give a clear picture of how the game's feel and acceleration would greatly improve, try watching a space battle with the game speed all the way up and just watch the lasers fly. Now, take the lasers speed and apply that to the normal gamespeeds numbers and you got an intensity factor that would rival games like WH40k, nuff said on that. The explosions need to be more viable and diverse. After watching a SD split up in the middle after its engines get destroyed as the last remaining hardpoint leaves a less the pleasent taste in my mouth of something i'd relate to lack of vision really. -Pathing issues that go above and beyond memorable annoyance!. AT-AT 1 and AT-AT 2 were gonna cross the road - "Yo AT-AT 2, stop fooling around with the reversing gear and front the nose north already!" "I can't ffs!, i gotta make a 180 and the only place i can do that is back at the RF point 20 miles back the road we just came from!" .... Need i say more?... There are other minor things that bug me but they are things i can live with, for now.... Morphium. p.s pardon me english, ain't my native language
