  1. Thanks for your sincerity, understanding, efforts and honesty, Delphi.
  2. Okay. Here are my thoughts... 1) I think if they want to remove a model, they should remove the Victory. Honestly? What is it? Just a baby Imperial Star Destroyer. Sure, it was in the EU. Sure it was in other games like Star Wars Rebellion. But if its so damn important, then WHY THE HELL IS IT NOT IN EPISODE III! 2) If not the Victory, then get rid of the Acclamator if you can only have a limited amount of models. The Acclamator is suppose to be a troop transport, not a frigate which is what its purpose is in the game. Make the Venator the "frigate" then. So what if its in the screenshots and trailers. The Venator was also in the screenshots. 3) If its about balancing, then why not just put the Venator in anyway with the same capabilities as the Victory. So its an extra ship...big deal! Let the fans decide which ship they would use in their missions. Afterall, it is ultimately them that will buy the game and help LucasArts have a sizable profit 4) The EAW site and promotional materials specifically said Episode III vehicles. Honestly, what episode III vehicles are out there? Acclamator is Episode II for God's sake! Anyway, I hope someone (Dephi-PG) is listening. I don't understand why a game company would want to disappoint star wars fans such as myself that happen to really like the Venator. Ever since that openinig sequence in Episode III, its love at first site. PLEASE put it in or at least give us the option to download the model for the game...
  3. Why can't they just upload the Venator at the main EAW site as an optional download if they simply do not want it added in the official copy of the game for whatever reason? Sort of like how Maxis/Electronic Arts upload new landmarks for their Simcity games. The model is already built and this would give Venator fans the satisfaction that they truly crave. If it does not fit in the story campaign, then fine. But at least let us have it for the conquest and multiplayer campaigns.
  4. Long time lurker, first time poster, huge fan of the Venator! notice thw "while back" remark, meaning that it is a old SS and does not mean anything at this time. I wanted to add that Delphi said 'were' implying that they are no more. I think we can say that that confirms that they are out. ^ Umm...I hope you are wrong. When Delphi said 'were', I can only assume what he meant was when they were demonstrating that game for that screenshot. Given that the occurence when that screenshot was taken took place in the past, it is only proper grammar that one were to use past tense, not present tense. Given that this topic is in all three major Empire at War Forums and a large number of Venator fans are extremely anxious, why haven't we heard any direct confirmation from Delphi that it is out? He sure has bluntly said the SSD was out when the topic was being discussed.
