Or, we could not place blame on anybody, sit down, shut up and enjoy all the movies like TRUE Star Wars fans. ;D Star Wars is fun to watch, I don't care what episode you're watching. The immense clashes between the forces of good and evil, the emotion, the action, the drama.... Acting is secondary to the sheer power of the series, and it's quite spectacular when you just let all the criticism go, step back, and enjoy the show.

By injecting the subject with nanoprobes, they gradually take over the entire body and mind until you lose all sense of individuality and become connected to the Collective, or hive mind. Each drone thinks with the entire Collective and that former individual's thoughts, feelings, and emotions are wiped away. However, their memory and knowledge remains and is transferred to the Collective as a whole.

So, no Borg then? The NJO and New Republic? Ugh.... : No problem with that era, it's just that it's skipping the grandest part in Star Wars history. The Galactic Civil war was the highpoint of warfare in the galaxy, as there was an ORGANIZED Empire under Palpatine, thus an organized and powerful navy, vs. the new tattered rag-tag crappy flying pieces of junk (no offense, but that's just my opinion) defending the New Republic with "warlords" running around buying Star Destroyers..... I just don't find it that appealing to have these once majestic, organized, and mighty vessels being skeleton crewed and flown around by semi-pirates. I am aware that the New Republic has Star Destroyers in it's "arsenal", but it's nowhere near the firepower of the Empire at it's height. And what's with all the Death Star wanna-be's? ??? And these "New Jedi".... Don't even get me started.... : Point is,this would be far better off taking place at the height of the Galactic Civil War when there was at least ORGANIZATION and true power in the galaxy.

Yes, I think it's that time too. In my opinion, it would be best for the community if the modders weren't all biast one way or another in this debocale. All I'm asking, is the we have a BALANCED mod where one side isn't just a giant punching bag. What's so wrong with the Feds and the Empire/Rebels forming an alliance against the Borg?! When it's a fight for survival, anything goes!!

First of all, NOWHERE DID I SAY THAT THE FEDERATION COULD DEFEAT THE EMPIRE IN BATTLE. I was taking about the BORG. With advanced technology assimilated from races all accross the galaxy, ESPECIALLY the knowledge to adapt to and regenerate from a multiude weapons fire, it would take a massive pounding from any Imperial fleet to severely cripple JUST ONE Cube, in the same way it takes a massive pounding from a Federation fleet to do the same thing (First Contact). FURTHERMORE, I suggest that we lay down the phasers and lightsabers, and discuss this like gentlemen to get the most fair and balanced result possible. I aslo ask each of you to keep an open mind, and not rule out any ST vs. SW scenario right away. There are so many factors to take into effect that an outcome will be VERY difficult to reach regardless of who's on what side. Our job is to make a BALANCED mod, not a one-sided Imperial slugfest against the Federation "wimps". HERE'S AN ALTERNATIVE: In my opinion, the Galactic Civil War should be put on hold, uniting the Rebel Alliance and the Galactic Empire's forces for the time being WITH the Federation, who have the technology needed to stop the Borg's conquest into the Star Wars galaxy. Although it would still be fun, this would make A WHOLE LOT MORE SENSE than a massive Star Trek vs. Star Wars all-out slugfest. The Federation are not war machines like the Empire, but they do have the technology available to defeat the Borg, if ever so slightly. With the TEMPORARY Imperial/Rebel allaince's firepower complemented by the Federation's technology, they will have an outlet to finally drive the Borg out of BOTH galaxies. Star Trek's Forces- the brains Star Wars' Forces- the braun The Borg- the seemingly unstoppable menace (believe me, these guys are tough!!) The Battlefield- the Star Wars galaxy, ripe for worlds to assimilate

Although, it's got to have some decent firepower to make it comparable to an ISD or two. Like I said before, some Borg cubes would help even it out as well. It should give an armada of Imperial Star Destroyers quite a fight as well. Perhaps we could modify Borg drones for ground use as well, and change the Emperor's Force Corrupt ability into an assimilation weapon against enemy troops.
