  1. Well its finally happened. Empire at War is set to make its way to the Mac sometime in February.
  2. Is the Moldy Crow in game? I remember seeing a screen from the convention and it was in game then....
  3. Actually Kyle Katarn fits in well with the story of EAW. According to Dark Forces it was Kyle who originally stole the Death Star plans and brought them to Leia. He was a mercenary for the Rebellion.
  4. I would love to see Empire At War released for the Mac. I know there are many Mac users that are also "dying" to play the game, me included.
  5. You seem to criticize a lot of people over little things.......Thanks for posting EJMM, I like the consistent updates Lucas Arts has done the past few weeks.
  6. I shall call mine Chuck Norris
  7. Minor? Perhaps......but i really liked the videos and it was good to finally see the Z-95 posted....just wish there was a supporting video instead of a screenshot.
  8. No need to get upset JMaster..... Ghostly sorry i didnt know just thought I was helpin out.
  9. There looks to be another small update to the official site, mainly in the Armies category along with a few planets.
  10. Thanks for the replys guys! No its just hoping this game makes its way to the mac. I know it would be extremely popular on our end.
  11. OK OK so before you bite my head up and begin flamming read my questions first. I have noticed quite a few screenshots going about with pics of these ships in them. I know the Venator is not supposed to be "in-game" but noticed some mods had them in it. So my question is are any of these ships actually in the game without mods and what are their roles, i.e. are Z95s buildable, are V-Wings only pirate ships, etc.? I know the Venator was said to not be in-game but then heard it was a pirate ship but mostly I figured it was simply put it because it's file was still in the game. I apologize if this was posted before but I did a search and couldn't find any specific answer to my question. -Matt
  12. my reply isnt in response to tactics but a question about bombers. are bombers able to attach other starfighters and as far as warheads go do they launch proton torpedos or space bombs or is there a choice? and i guess while were at it what do x-wings and a-wings have besides lasers? sorry if its too many questions.
  13. Phantom- You have just made one of the most intelligent posts I've seen in a while....I agree with you 100% on everything you said. Take Call of Duty for instance. No one complained when the first Call of Duty came out and when fans got an expansion pack in United Offensive, they got multiplayer with vehicles and many other features. Yes I know theres been an uproar about COD2 and its lack of United Offensive features. Expansion packs can be a very good thing is the point I'm making in regards to the timeline issue. As I recall there have been few Star Wars games in the past that have covered Episodes IV through VI. Tie Fighter and X-Wing are still some of the greatest Star Wars titles to be released and they covered specific segments of the saga.
  14. I'm sorry I gave that impression....I understand completely and apologize if you felt I was attacking you. I truly do understand the point you are making. Sorry for the miscommunication!
  15. Sure they said that it would be easy to mod but they never said that it wouldn't require a program to mod it. Maybe that doesn't make sense but what I'm trying to say is the community will be able to mod the game and I personally think its pretty cool that they are releasing a program for modders. They aren't going back on their word of "this game will be easy to mod", now you just need a program they will release. In reply to the game not having more units and what not, I remember the dev specifically stating they had numerous models that Lucas Arts decided to pass on. I know you guys like proof and flame people for not having it but I frankly can't remember what topic it was in. Regardless, I'm sure there will be expansion packs that will cover more units but I'm pretty impressed at some of the units they are including such as the Z-95s, Kyle Katarn for example. I thought for sure those wouldn't see the light of day. I still think there are more surprises coming our way.
