good question, because from the gqmes ive played the galactic map or any kind of outside look from the gameplay where u build etc use turn base or some sort of similiar thing to make it easier for building etc, with it real time, its gonna be diff and weird hmmm.

the guy who just said the cloaking device was discovered 5 years after ROTJ, well wrong cause after ROTJ vader is dead, well if uy played rebel assault 2, vader deff is part of the story when the rebels try and destroy the phantom fighters

good question like the feature in total war, u can view ur city randomly without fighting -
100% doubt they get that technical with the game. My opinion changed in the past month from a hardcore strategy game with very strategic battles tomore of a arcadish battles with simplistic and basic galactic map. But its starwars and looks awesome so im still waiting for the demo!

yea so like unless during the space batle ur transports are going to the planeta nd thats when they get attacked, they shouldnt be in space. Whos stupit enough to do that, u keep em safe in a ISD til its time to deploy -
i think heros are cool but to an extent. Like having more than one hero per battle is what ruins it more on the battle field. I would more like to just be able to use them to do missions and command like in rebellion.

ur so right, i love it, we pretty much compare this game to rome:totalwar and rebellion, it should be better than those 2 put together if the developersd are smart enough to work with what works and learn from past mistakes -

TFKNS i believe was joking, beinbg sarcastic. Pretty much i think the same, it has to be starwars, they have to stay true because they know they get like 60% sales only from the starwars title alone. Size of squadrons not a big deal because it just isnt and u can cgange it yourself. But if they have things such as a ISD only holding 2 squadrons, now thats b.s. -
the capital ships are gonna be awesome, but dogfights are awesome too. But what i got from the leaked info, dogfights wont really be dogfights i guess, like i dunno, we'll find out when the game comes out.

1st we are deff gonna have to mod the heros not dieing, thats just not right for some of us folks... Next I know the population limit will upset lots if its strick, so we will deff have to edit that, unless u have a slow pc.... Fighter squad will deff be something I will edit, like ill prob make it where ties get destroyed a bit more easier, but squads of 12, bomber i might make like grounds of 5. I will deff make the squads/companies of stormtroopers etc a lot bigger! I kno the AT-AT or starships wont be able to hold enough fighters/troops than it should. Its almost a certain, so id deff edit it where a AT-AT holds about like 20-30 troops, then have the realistic number of ties in a ISD such as hmm im guessing about 3 squads of ties, squad of bombers, make another fighter class too.

remember the people who are making this game made the c&c games, chances are they'll do something similar to what they did and worked in the past, which is...........cool down and lots of AA guns

How the the process of recuiting heros presented? Will it be like Rebellion, have a hero recuit and after a while recuits someone, or after special in game events such as those in rome:total war, will they appear? Or will it be a method of do you have the money/resources to get it? How will real time in the galactic map? We know its real time, not turn base, but is it like operating a base/recuiting units like in C&C series or something different. Its been said the Imperial Star Destroyerswill come with ties when built, can we still customize to the point if we want all tie bombers or all tie fighters? Maybe we want to take the tie bombers out of the ISD hanger and replace it with more ties, do we have that kind of flexibility? Will units gain experience as they continue to win battles? Will we have the ability like in Rebellion to assign an admiral, general and commander to your fleet/ground forces? How is the diplamacy work, if there is any? Will there be uprisings, negotiations etc.?

if they do have the optional missions, think of those missions like the ones in rome:totalwar, the senate gave u missions and if ya achieved it, you got the awards, if not, oh wel continue doing what u want

i can see gameplay wise why theyd have transports there in space, but otherwise they should just stay inside the ships unless there standalone transports.

my whole opinion with the hero units is that while it is a unique and neat thing to have on your ground forces, i dont think it should be a big thing for space battles too. Hearing people say this ship should be a her unit because it was vader's personal flagship or this becauxe its a revolutionary squadron. I think they should limit them to space battles, for instance this game is about creating our own outcomes and forces, so I say if you choose to have this ship be great and like a hero unit, put your best admiral/commander leading it, and if they do add the whole experience bonuses to ships, then have that be it too, then just rename the ship. I see rogue squadron being something that would fit fine, but home one or vader's flagship being one, i don't think it would fit good. Another issue I have is respawning her units. I am totally against this, all it does is make the game feel more arcadish. Since this is a strategy game, use strategies. Such as positioning units, dont be stupit and have them attack first by themselves, ofcoarse they'll die. It'll add to the strategy to what your gonjna do without vader tec. I am totally aginst this. Ofcoarse this is all my opinions.....
