people got their hopes up because other people who had no concrete information would post that they were "sure" that the demo was done, or being released. we heard many rumors from people who supposedly had the inside scoop. i think next time we need to be more cautious as to who we believe. Also, he didn't even give a date, just a guess at when he was getting a date. He could tell us, it's going to be released feb 17. so we shouldn't get our hopes up. a mod should change the thread title so no one gets their hopes up and to control rumors.

the venorator is for both sides. i heard that somewhere although i can't find where i read that. but i think they were very specific in saying that you can't capture ships.

i have a suggestion to help keep this round organized. This would be aimed at the moderators. make up 5 or so threads with different catagories i.e. multiplayer, modding, content, battles, or whatever and let people post suggestions under each heading to keep on topic, then have a moderator look at the posts and pick like one or two questions and then have a poll tommorow and the winners will get sent. that way everyone has a say, not just people who post alot.

one thing you forgot to mention is that there are two new screenshots. one of a mon calimari crusier and one of a space battle.

does anyone know of a place to see it? has anyone downloaded it or recorded it off the tv?

JediIgor, why do you only complain? All you ever do is complain how bad the graphics look, and how your *sniffle* favorite *sniffle* ships aren't in the game, and how this isn't the game we were promised. No offense but no one promised that this game would be the end-all for starwars RTS's. Also, how can you criticize a game so much with out actually playing it? If you're so unhappy, and this game is such a dissapointment, why have you posted 247 times on this forum? This goes for all the rest of the people who sit around and complain all the time, if you hate it so much and are sooo dissapointed, go somewhere else, don't bother playing it. Yeah, i guess i am flaming, but he is flaming a game that stands to be the best Starwars game to come out yet. i mean why should any of us be happy anyways, a starwars game that actually looks fun is coming out.

uh... have you ever played any total war?? the AI attacked you, and it did it well. total war is similar, and i am confident in the abilities of all the staff at Petroglyph. I am sure that can program a more than competent AI. Although on the other hand Rebellion was quite easy, even on the hardest difficulty. So i guess it is kinda up in the air, but from what i've seen it should be fine. we shouldn't criticize until it's out. and then hope it gets modded/patched if it sucks.

I don't think 40+ is all that dissapointing. In "Medieval Total War" there are probably 80+ provences and to play through an entire campaign takes forever and gets difficult to balance all the territories. But none of us have played it so it is hard to judge weither or not 40 is enough, too much, or too little.

I have two questionss. In the scene where the walkers and troops are on what looks like to be kashyyk marching twords the horizon, on the left side in the middle of the screen there is a spinning robot thing, what is it? and just below that there is a group of soldiers who are not dressed like storm troopers, could they be some kind of commandos, or officers? also it looks like they spruced up the interface, especially the galactic map. it looks really nice. loots of neat pictures and stuff. it's gunna be great!

Can anyone make a compilation list of all the videos of SW EAW. I have like 3 but i want all of them. And also, does anyone know if there is a version of the Lizpeg video(the one of the space battle) that isn't like cut up. like a full version. Thanks
