haha yeah that would suck lol pay 20 dollars lol. Really, think about it. If it was always gone from the game then Petro must be stupid. It will be back again in a different game it makes zero sense otherwise. Just think it through it makes no sense. Like say i played the imp campaign and killed all planets (lol) ok so now i go to rebellion campaign wait opps cant play it anymore i killed the galaxy. Oh wait in fact i cant play the game at all! Oh well better uninstall.......

They really need to do something about the shockwave going straight through the death star. lol. Also I want more TIEs! And I still dont think it can kill capital ships because they never show the guy actually picking what to shot, all it is, is a lever to kill the planet.

I want the TIE defender! lol I know maybe a long shot..... And I want SSD!!! And ummm.... santa clause to deliever presents to all the good little stormtroopers.

I hope George lucas remakes the alderan destruction scene, I can see it now: *Alderan blows up* [in the background we hear the cries of Jar Jar] [Camera goes to tarkin smiling] Tarkin was a smart man alright. Too bad he blew with the death star, cause he would have come in handy with the ewoks as well.......

All in all pretty good.... I assume the game speed was up high or the rebels must really be putting there troops through vigorous exercise . The command post stuff reminds me quite a bit of battlefront. Also the transport overlapping needs to be fixed that was annoying somewhat. Otherwise I liked it, except for when the camera wasnt focused good, or sometimes the camera man felt like filming only the right side or bottom of the monitor. lol I kept thinking the guy was going to sleep on the job

We have to remember that Luke can sense clones in the EU, but that is when he is a full fledged Jedi Knight. One could argue that Luke wasnt grown enough in the force to detect the clones in the first trilogy. By the time we get to the EU, most of the cloned stormtroopers are dead as we see in the thrawn trilogy, because Zahn says that you have to be sparing with the stormtroopers (meaning there arent many left). Those troops could be regular humans. A long shot, but it could fit in.

The seperatists actually turn into the rebellion as you see in Episode III. Because Padme herself realizes that she is on the wrong side and thats why she asks anakin if they are really on the right side. The republic turns into the empire because Palpatine declares it as the Galatic Empire, and therfore they get the triangular ships and the rebels get the organic vessels. So even though the seperatists looked like bad guys in the prequel, they may have been the ones who saw through the corruption in the senate. The corruption Palpatine spearheaded.

The demo would probably be downloadable from a place like gamespot, because like you said lately Lucas Arts never gives you a download from there server. For example, republic commando they have a link to download a demo but it redirects you to some other site. Cheap no?

I personally loved Rebellion, but it took me a good days before I mastered everything. It has a ton you have to learn but as soon as you figure out what your doing it can be enjoyable. But i'm not saying it was perfect. The constant clicking was annoying as was the repetitive sound track .

I have a feeling there are quite a ton of units they havnt yet/arent going to reveal to us. I think they will have more EU ships because they included some already confirmed EU ships and units such as the TIE crawler or Interdictor cruiser.

I would like to see the original sound track , and some freshly new star wars like songs. Which im glad to hear that there will be someone writing a new sound track for the game. Hopefully it will add some new great songs to the star wars universe .

From the german Empire at war site, they released a video stating the demo would be out december. Visit empireatwar.net and go to the trailers section and I believe they have a copy of the video there.

Yeah it would be cool because then you could have massive stormtrooper vs. rebel troop battles . Maybe have a few light vehicles mixed in.

I bet they will have a few planets (like bespin and coruscant) were there isnt a land battle. But if there is a land battle I bet its limited to ground troops or something. It would make intereasting game play...

Good point, I'm new here and didnt realize that a question was already chosen about the death star so i voted 49. Oh well, next time I will look better before I vote seeing as it was right at the top. By the way my name is Nate and hi all!

I bet that there waiting to show off the SSD, and all the other ships to make suspense. Personally I think it will be in there they just dont want to show it yet.
