Small missions with a very small story.
-
It was a skirmish game. Another one took 50 minutes. May you translate this report of a skirmish game with google: report of a skirmish game (1vs1). The imperial gamer lost his asteroid. So he was not able to earn enough money. But he took all risks on himself and conquered the asteroid back. Than he owned the Rebell Space Station after about 50 minutes.

You can find them >here<. We got them from Activision today. Pic 1: You can find asteroids on which you can build mines. You have to fly with one of your units near to this asteroid. Only now you are able to build a mine on the asteroid. Pic 2: The mine was built up. Now you earn money from this asteroid. You need no transporters. Pic 3: This is the radar map. Here you can see the small symboles for the asteroids on which you can build mines. Pic 4: Here you can see the special ability of the Tartan. Pic 5: The single tartets of the imperial space station. Each target has a own kind of symbol. Weapons = cross, hangar = anchor. Pic 6: The 'little' Acclamator with his sigle targets. Pic 7: Also the Acclamator with his single targets.

You missed two buildings: Mercenary Outfitter http://www.sw-eaw.de/galerie/org/432.jpg Hutt Palace http://www.sw-eaw.de/galerie/org/430.jpg -
On the homepage of Frank Klepacki (Sound Design Petroglyph) you can find a Song of the Month with the name "Number 2 Man". It is not bad. Here is his Website.

On the official site you can find some new stuff. Look here And there is one new screen in the gallery.

I think it is the same battle but a bit earlier and in another angle. But it is a nice screen.

What planet has the best designed map ? (Topic 0.1)
Junker replied to Cain's topic in EAW General Discussion
Difficult to say. First I have to play on all of them. Until now I only played on Alderaan and a small Iceplanet, which name I do not know at the moment. -
Here is another one: Darth Vader in a sequence
-
You can find them here: 12 new Screens They are from the two previews from PC Games and Gamestar. Pic 1: R2-D2 is hacking into an imperial building while the other troops have to keep him alive. Pic 2: Vader and his Force-Crush Pic 3: Vader Pic 4: Vader and his Force-Push Pic 5: After the AT-ST entered the base shield they will all be killed easyly. Maybe you have to find the powergenerators first and than command a new attack on the enemy base. Pic 6: Vader want you to catch the pirate leader alive. Have a look on the space units you are able to build in Tech 1. Also look at the income of the planet. Pic 7: Captain Raymus Antilles in action. Pic 8: Boda Fett and his special weapon in space. Looks great but is very deadly for fighters. Pic 9: Now have a look on the ground units you can build in Tech 1. Alderaan has an income of 134 credits per day. Pic 10: Planet Info of Alderaan. Look at the Planet info text. Pic 11: Same with Aeten 2. Very low income here... Pic 12: Look at the small info box. Rain and his effects.

The hologram is the pirate leader. In the top you can read what he is saying. I played a very early version of EaW. In this time many things changed. For multiplayer you get two games (space and ground battles) in one game. I never played RTW and AoE. WW3 was too much with the heros and creeping for me. I played always Red Alert 2 or Yuri's Revenge (Command & Conquer).

Venator - To be or not to be ?! (*in)
Junker replied to Bryant_pff's topic in EAW General Discussion
What details do you want? In the whole preview there is no word about the venator. But what I think (with a good look on the original picture in the magazine): The imperial ships are not fireing on the second venator. You see the clouds in front of the venator? This venator is not hurt or burning. In this clouds there are some small rebell ships like Corellian Gunships. Maybe the second venator was used to scout, met the rebel fleet and changed his direction back to his own fleet. -
Venator - To be or not to be ?! (*in)
Junker replied to Bryant_pff's topic in EAW General Discussion
So it is. I can't confirm anything. I can only post this screen which is now in a magazine. This magazine have only the known screens and got never exclusive screens. But for this preview they got a visit from Activision and they was able to play the first missions and tutorials. Maybe this is a screen of a mission, maybe this is an old screen which Activision gave the magazine together with some others and this was a mistake. I will ask Activision Germany what the history of this screen is. -
The magazine is the PC Games. I only can post this screen. But I can not say if the Venator is in the game.
-
This picture is in a preview of a magazine. It is 9 cm high. So it is not very good. The "52" is the number of the page. The preview is out yesterday. So the screens are very new I think. Activision Germany visited them with a laptop with the newest EaW version. But why one Venator fly in the "wrong direction"... I can't say.

Empire at War - The multiplayer question
Junker replied to Lonegunman1947's topic in EAW General Discussion
I hope so, too. Even you made a part of the multiplayer. -
On this screen you are able to see two Venator in a heavy space battle.
-
Maybe my translation is not the perfect. Or the discription in the magazine is not the best. This is a very powerful weapon. You can see it here: http://www.sw-eaw.de/galerie/org/401.jpg

In a German Game magazine (Gamestar.de) they showed a Screen on which imperial troops attack a Space Station on a asteroid of pirates. This is a screen of a mission. Also you can see small intercepors of the pirates in the middle of the screen. Here you can find the Screen
