  1. Okay, I didn't even know that forum existed, I usually just check out the ones for EAW.
  2. What is P-02?
  3. You lucky S.O.B.! If I tried that with my boss, he'd say "Sure! Why don't you atke the rest of the year off as well! We'll start looking for your replacement tomorrow." Needless to say I didn't ask, but I'm going to try to put in a good 4-5 hours playtime when I get the game.
  4. That's good to hear, this is one thing I couldn't be happier to be more wrong about.
  5. I just looked it up on Amazon, and both versions of the game were PC CD-Rom. Maybe this is an older pic of the game box and they have changed it for the Collector's Edition, but so far it's looking to not be the case. Especially since if you look at the Collector's Edition for BFME 2, it clearly states DVD-Rom.
  6. I noticed that too the other day when I looked at EBGames, I think when the games comes out they will update the onfo to reflect that it's on DVD and Cd-Rom. A game of this magnitude would have to be on more than one CD, just look at BFME it took four. I can't see LucasArts not issuing the game on DVD as well.
  7. picky, picky, picky...
  8. All great examples of what I was referring to, thanks guys.
  9. You still don't understand what I am talking about. Yes you have ships and troops to defend your bases and attack the enemy's bases. I am talking about secret missions that you can send heroes and/or special forces on to take out specific enemy targets. Such as having a squad of commandoes who will infiltrate an enemy base to take out their shield generator; to make the job of conquering the base easier for your forces. Having a special covert squad that can swing the tide of the battle in your favor by destroying a critical structure that weakens the enemy base. Another would be to have a squad of commandoes infiltrate an enemy shipyard to take out their newly built Battle Cruiser. Let's say you're the Rebels and you are watching your brand new MC-90 come out of the Mon Calamari Shipyards, then suddenly it explodes due to sabotage by an enemy commando unit. All those resources and time spent building it are gone. That would be a huge blow to your war effort. What I am talking about is in addition to regular warfare. It's clandestine warfare to weaken the enemy from within, while you attack from without.
  10. Destroying ships, enemy structures, assassinations, things like that. For instance in ground combat, you send in a covert team or a hero to take out a shield generator or a heavy weapons factory. In space, taking out the enemy's brand new top line ship as it leaves the shipyard. That's what I am referring to. We know espionage is featured in the game since the Rebels have to steal the plans for the Death Star and the prototypes of the X-Wing. To me it would only make sense to have sabotage as well.
  11. What I'm talking about Dork is watching your brand new ISD pulling out of the shipyard and two seconds later it explodes. Missions you can send heroes or covert teams on to destroy specific enemy targets. It would be great if they have sabotage, but we can only hope.
  12. Awhile back we talked about sabotaging ships while they are being built, and I was wondering if anyone knew if this was going to be ingame or not?
  13. I can't point to any one thing that will immerse me into this game, it will be everything. I have been waiting so long for a Star Wars RTS, that it will be hard to disappoint me. Given the fact that Petroglyph has a few C&C veterans working on this game, I seriously doubt they will muck it up.
  14. ROTFLMAO!!! Whoever put that together was brilliant!
  15. Ok I finally checked out your site. Very interesting and quite a bold undertaking as well. I am curious to see how you fit those factions into the game. That would be cool to go up against the Vong ships and see if they really are as tough as the NJO books made them out to be.
