Please tell me campaign damage is not repaired instantly!

It is in my strong opinion, that it is indeed an important thing to have repairs in the game. There are times in games like Rebellion, when I send a fleet thats not quite big enough to a battle, but am able to severely damage the majority of their fleet. I always keep two or three of these fleets in each system, and if that happens, then it wouldn't be too difficult to send a second of those fleets in to take out the severely crippled fleet. This makes things much more exciting, and can turn the tide of the game from one side to the other. With instant repairs, there is no point in even trying to do anything when you are doomed to lose. You may as well just alt-tab and let the battle auto-resolve. On the other hand, if there were repairs, you could aim to take out the shield Generator at least on each ship.. Pop the hangers to make your next fleet have an easier time of it. It opens up the game to a whole new level of strategy. Do you destroy one ship or pick apart 5-6 of them? -
The Venator is removed from the imperial list for the final version if I am not mistaken. So it just goes to show how old the build we got is

its a pirate ship. (Which makes sense since it is outdated) And the models for the ship are still included for the mods. So people who don't pay attention to balance will just toss it in

That split second could be enough time for them to bring a second fleet in to cut off your invasion. Eventually you will have to keep some ground units with each of your fleets.

Obi-wan is bugged as well and crashes you if you enter ground combat. -
Are you sure that AT-ST's arn't free units just like all the rest? Light-factories might make AT-ST's at a very slow rate or something to help defenders stand a chance

That 2nd ship is Palpatines I would guess. where is the mod hmm -
Notice... The empire doesn't have any anti-fighter ships in that fleet. Put anti-fighter ships in and y-wings die 10x faster than if you have a VSD fireing on them. Ships are strong/weak against certain other ships. Send in Home One using a mod. Have it attack fighters. It barely scratches them. Send in a corvette against fighters, and it demolishes them. Y-wings, powerful? yep. Overpowered? nope. Just balance your fleets.

Delphi, thats why I said I stand corrected. I apologize I have just never noticed a demo being changed in that way. BUt then again the last demo I downloaded was years ago! -

They didn't speed up building for the demo. It will still take like 10 seconds to build any unit. Imagine how fast a death star will be built at that speed. There is just NO strategy when you can build that fast. Rebellion hit the building on the mark. You want the big ships, you sacrifice your building resources on that planet to build it. But in order for this to work, they need to make it so you can build 5 things on each planet at once. Not just 5 things universally. -

Turn based unless they slow the speed of everything down. Right now you can build an entire fleet, and move it to attack in a single day. There is no strategy in that at all. It should take days and days to build stuff, so you have to think ahead, guess what your opponent is going to do, and try to counter it. Is he going to build a bomber fleet to take out your capitals? Then rush to buidl anti-fighter ships. But the way it is now.. its more of.. ok hes gonna attack. then hes gonna attack again in a day if he loses, then hes gonna attack again, at full strength each time. Kinda lame in my opinion. -

BUG REPORT - I had paused and alt-tabbed. When I alt-tabbed back in, Han Solo in the Falcon was still flying around blowing things up. Everything else was paused since it was at the menu screen but the Falcon wasn't. Happened twice in 2 seperate accounts. -

that also slows down the "days" though I believe. Which is something I don't want. I would prefer days to be faster, give 1/6 the credits, but then it would actually make sense. Make it take 5 days to build a ship at least. This 50 ships a day thing just isn't my cup-o-tea. -
Its all too short to even bother with a video. The only two fights you have full control over are over so quickly you don't have the opportunity to get anything worth putting on tape. Not to mention that its so fast paced you wouldn't know what was going on hehe

I only did the tutorials at this point, and I must say I enjoyed it a lot... But there is one thing I don't particularly like.. Its the speed at witch things happen. It feels more like Battlefront 2's galactic conquest, where everything is instant and is only about the battles. The ships move incredibly fast at least in the demo between the planets. And you are able to build entire fleets in a single game "day". I personally think it should be more along the lines of the old Star Wars Rebellion, where you can speed/slow down the days, but things take the "days" to be completed. But I guess thats just me loving Rebellion so much and wanting this to be a clone. I don't know -
for one, how can it be exploited? Your paying resources for every ship you lose to replace it. Its not like its "free damage" And to the poster who said the Corvette would bounce off the shields.. Please just stop posting. That is so rediculous. A little proton torpedo can go through the shields, but a huge ship with a reactor core that is like 100 torps, can't? riiight.
