it would take that much of AI for it. the American Army has computers that run similar effects on battles it takes in reports then can predict things that are going to happen and/or suggest things a General may not have noticed. its not that much to down grade that to use with our parameters and then have it learn different moves like the Hit and Run or your interdictor it could also be used for keeping the forces safe while you engage someone else somewhere the only problem is that it would mean that the PC is fighting itself and it would lose after the first few adapts because the oppenent AI would become smart and learn the moves that your AI is using. alternatively you just tell it a set of goals or parameters like: 'if you are attacked the you are to take out weapons and engines on all oppenent ships' and then it will carry that out eaisily.

the demo release is close has anyone got any more ideas for what they are going to do with the demo?

yeah i saw them but you could use a split army more than one large army because of the hit and run tactics but you can hit and run with one and keep the other back building for a main assault or a Guarded Retreat.

yeah they could keep to the level of what KOTOR 2 SHOULD HAVE been but have the plot the Exile meets Revan they set out to kill the Sith Empire wit the Lost JEdi. also the Exile should get his lightsaber back.

yeah we need new authors who ACTUALLY have read the plots of what has happened and they make sure there book fits in and follows on what has happened and heaven forbid actually use more characters than Luke, Leia, Han, the Twins, Vader/anakin what happened to a story where its about Anakin Solo and Tahiri actually doing more than just being friends?

I was playing Dynasty Warrior 4 on the ps2 with my cuz and we went on a campaign that was kill kill kill it was so fun we just ran round a building slicing and dicing anyone and everyone we saw.

lol fair enough im at 6th form and i still have loads of time on my hands. (ERm for the yanks, 6th forms like college just run at the skl as we leave school at 16 if we want.)

tracking a fleet through Hyperspace and dropping out of hyperspace in Deep Space is this possible? also with this if so this is a tactical advantage as you can station ships just out of a sector and supply the force with out having to move them away from a gravity well.

yeah ive been thinkin about this and it would make sense to be able to have 2 fleets arriving in 2 system one at a time i think that you should choose the battle that you want to fight and leave an AI in control of the second and if things go wrong the game should tell you about anything major going on in the other sector as you cant really expoect it to give you time to take the planets one at a time and let you spend hours consolidating one place for a galaxy that large you must be able to play concurrent battles. because you can launch a minor offensive against a small planet they reinforce there and then you hit the location that the reinforcements is from just like they did in the NJO and taking back Fondor they made a feint at Duro and when the reinforcements arrived they hit Fondor with the enemy trapped in a Gravity Well at Duro giving them enough time to take out the remaining forces at Fondor when secure they ran to fondor ahead of the Vong.

well its been released and i got it yesterday the deleted scenes on the double disk are funny specially the first one. with the gesture talking.

oh Vader thats nasty. ive broke my arm on a biking accident turned a corner and slammed into the moving cars front end i cant remember much of the accident but i know it hurt like hell when i woke up though. and the rest thanks u lot have cheered me up with stories of pain and jokes a plenty!

could you land more than one force and draw the garrison away leaving the base relatively undefended? for a strike by a flanking force? if you could then this would be really cool.
