  1. thx and yeah thats what I'm going to do as soon as i can get my comp to run on more then just safe mode
  2. this is my first try at making my avatar and Sig the avatars not like i wanted it to but my PC's broken so i cant do anything to it at the moment. any constructive criticism would be welcomed.
  3. you hit that dead on.
  4. man I've posted in a lot or rooms today. any ways i really do think that the torpedo's and missiles shouldn't go through shields. i know that the fighters are easy to counter but what about the cap ships that shoot torps and missals like the acclimator and venitor and vsd i think not to mention the gunboat, and its imp equivalent as well as the broadside and the marauder corvette o and the space station itself.
  5. as i sed be for star wars is a WAR based show hints the name Star WARS. and star trek is a science based show about exploring the galaxy (well at least some of it considering how slow there FTL drives are) hints the word TREK in the shows name. any ways back on topic the ISD all the way.
  6. sorry for the second post but i finally got through all the posts on this page. in my oppion i think 2.5d is a much better idea then 3d b/c you don't have to worry sending your units up or down all you have to do is say attack here and they do. now if the ships would move up or down to get into a better firing position that would be great but ehh its not that important.
  7. i have 2 things that i didn't like one that the missiles went through the ships shields and 2 she shields went away way to fast especially considering the fact that Mon calamari shields are sapos to be legendary in there strength. the reasons i didn't like the missiles going through the ships shields is b/c all the enemy has to do is target the shield generator. yes i know you could build tartens and corvettes but that doesn't stop the stashion and the mass amounts of bombers whith fighter escorts form getting a fiew in. and the second part about the shields. i really think that at the speed that the ships shields go down makes the space battles a lot shorter then land battles when it should be vice versa in my opinion. also the stashion shields go down faster then an isds shields do.
  8. the enterprise is an good ship in its own respect star trek was not meant to be about war. i just don't under sand how you can compare a science based show to a war based show.
  9. The only think i found really annoying was the fact that the torpedo and concussion missals could go trough a ships shields. I would understand if they did more damage then a turbo laser does but going through the shield. other then that this was a great but short demo. my favorate this is the space battle i did every thing form making a balanced feet to making one kind of ship / fighter only.
  10. i think those mines/debre from the picture on the last page are actualy escape pods i have no clue y i think that i just do
  11. lol i love to kill borg cubes with what you think might be a puny ship like a defiant or sumthing. any ways back on topic i think it would be fun to do a sfc3 mod for star wars if its posible. or at leas subsitute the fed ships for the rebs and the roms for the imps or sumthing along that line
  12. this is a little off topic but do you like stargate or are you just using that picture?
  13. sadly i have never played the original eem but sence i havent i guess thats y i like this one so much more.
  14. empier earth 2 is one of the most well thought out games i have ever played then again the only other rts games i have are WC3,Sc and battle for middle earth
