  1. At the end of Episode 3, the clones are Imperial forces. This would mean that the clone fighters (which look most like X-Wing fighters) are also under imperial command. I would interpret the fact that the Rebels "stole the X-Wing prototype" as being that the Imperials decide to expand the clone fighter technology, and produce a protoype of the new version of fighter (Z-75 or X-Wing). The Rebels steal this technology and this is how the X-Wings come to be in Rebel hands. Just my opinion.
  2. Most games as well have the ability to limit super fleets with a population limit. Most times, they're just imposing, and I'd imaging that they would be very imposing in EAW due to the fact that you have to have a space fleet and a ground army. Superfleets also give a disadvantage in a way if you have the whole thing grouped together. In that case, unless the enemy sends in one attack from one direction, youre gonna be hard pressed to split up the big fleet and defend the other attacked areas. Where I can see having a larger fleet spread over a larger area (2 Star Destroyers with one planet, 3 iwth another etc), having one fleet isn't always advantageous just because of the limits of defence of such a large area in EAW.
  3. What a silly mistake. I'm just so used to playing as the Empire in Battlegrounds (Rebellion was before my time) that I'm not used to naming other units; they're all gone before I can see what my troopers were shooting at.
  4. I would go for both quality and quantity, but put emphasis on the quality at the beginning. If the enemy attacks with AT-AT's etc. and all you have is a bunch of stormtroopers and no walls/shield generators, it's generally safe to say that you aren't going to last long.
  5. I usually wait and see how agressive the AI is in a game, then determine my stategy. If the AI isnt attacking very much, I'll concentrate more on building up an attack fleet, and if the AI is being agressive, then I worry more about defending my entire base.
  6. Right now its 16:36 in Eastern Canada. We're 6 hours behind continental Europe, and 5 behind England.
  7. Sorry if this is a duplicate post, but I don't remember seeing this anywhere. Do we know yet what classes of Star Destroyers we'll be able to build? I know I've seen the standard class, and the one with the gravity wells on it, but do we know for certain about any others?
  8. Will you be able to deliver space to planet laser-assaults from a Star Destroyer? Will the Death Star be able to fight with turbolasers and launch ships as well?
