  1. Its about a race called "Ayu-Maya" that struggled for survival for territory survival. I'll keep off people's interactions and only go into it a tiny bit. This is basically a history telling. If you see any conflicting information let me know (basically author errors, continuity errors). -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Chapter 0: Background story: When the earth was still one (Pangaea), many dinosaurs roamed the land especially early humans. These human species were neither stupid nor very smart but they were clever enough to live in this dangerous world. Humans believe through scientific research they can solve any obstacle thrown their way so they believed that humans formed several years after the dinosaur's extinction. Mankind is known to survive through thick and thin. These early humans also has the traits we have today but they were much more tuned to nature while ours is more tuned to business and technology(basically dumbed down). The Ayu-Maya's were a clever race managing to do the impossible at times but in the most realistic boundaries the earth was given. There have been other known locations but currently not much is known so not much can be spoken. The Ayu-Maya's in this story are set around the Pacific Ocean where the "Island of Mu" was to have been located. During the Pangaea period these people lived mostly in the Asian area which is now known as Australia (or at least a quarter of it). This area was still hooked up with Asia and Australia but during our time period has (almost) disappeared. When the Earth began reforming and into the shape we see today with the sinking of many islands holding advanced civilizations. Some of its locations are still left like a huge ruin off the coast of Eastern Japan where ruins are submerged. These have been referenced in Reideen anime and Rahxephon. http://3dparks.wr.usgs.gov/nyc/images/fig83.jpg Chapter 1: Ayu-Maya's Formed and Civilized The earth filled with many forests and life goes on with its business while the humans with wings fly around wondering what their purpose on this earth is. As many as 500 of these humans with wings fly around wondering where they came from and how they got here search for a suitable area to inhabit that is not as fierce as the mainland. The place they inhabit would be the later known as "The Island of Mu" which struggles to survive in legends to this day and was the home of a great human civilization before they collapsed from an interfering alien race. The huge group of winged humans found the first habitable (safe zone) where they can build a settlement. The first settlement which would turn into a capital would be located near present day Mexico, the capital named "Sineani" (one place; a certain time ). This settlement was the first ever human settlement known to man kind through either science, legend, or (or even rarer) through dreams telling of a life struggle to survive. This settlement called "Sineani" would be one of the many capitals to spread through the Island of Mu for a struggle to survive finding out what their main purpose was. Later on as the Ayu-Maya people began to settle in and feel more secure they began spreading out slowly creating more settlements to secure a route to greater their numbers and to make sure they can gather enough resources to keep surviving. They built high, on ground, below, and even underwater. When enough settlements were formed and people felt firmly secure they began exploring the dangerous world where fierce dinosaurs still roamed, hunting them for game and for survival sports. Those who were unfit were placed in this unsafe area to see if they can adapt and if not they would die. As cruel as this may have been it prevented a weak line of humans from being born in the long run of the species. This was figured out through the 4th generation where the more careless Ayu people had less skilled, less intelligent, and smaller wings from those who actually helped out swiftly building defensive structures, weapons (like bows, arrows, spears and the like). Once nightfall came when the first settlement was formed there were these unknown shadows that stalked them from the ground. Few of these Ayu slept in trees first with some others sleeping on the ground. When nightfall came weird howling and screaming was heard before the first strike was gained by the shadow people. These would later be turned against these creatures later labeled as "Kur" for the Ayu would build walls holding torches. These walls would be made out of stone and wood circling the area they settled on. The Ayu would work in two shifts, day and night, which helped them survive. During the day those who harvest food and resources would hunt before sundown and during the night warriors would be on guard making sure that none of these "Kur" would make it in. The beginning of the light and dark began here where during the day everything could be considered peaceful while during the night many new evil could be found. To find the proper warriors the weak are first scouted out within the settlement (and as mentioned) left to fend for themselves in the dinosaur filled world. The weak would be chained up and left in a building for prisoners (could be considered more like an airport where people leave ingroups). During the night instead of meeting the "Kur" you meet many night time meat eaters. All the weak parts of the race were left for a week in the wilderness and if they survived for a weak they would be returned given normal jobs to do. If they were still found to be weak they would be returned where another week trial begins. If this continues many times there will be a duel to the death with other's labeled as weak within any settlement. This later turned into a territory game where a team was assembled for each settlement and had no choice but to participate for survival. There were many survival games where the more well known ones were sparing duels, soccer (Mayans also played soccer), fight the Kur (the side with the most survivors wins[or at least has a survivor]), normal ancient duels with both sides, and lastly who's team can fly the longest going in circles while being chained up to the ground (to prevent escapes). For those that lived had the right to give birth and those that died or lost were slaves until they proved themselves to be worthy to breed. There were rarely any sadistic leaders or referees who watched these games to allow any pointless killing since it was more of a show of skill and to allow skill to be gained/worked on.
  2. Ya and the Modding community is stronger on the German side since they got more creativity. Proof: Though its low in numbers still it still new. http://www.pg-dn.com/
  3. Well I'm just curious, anybody here registered to a Gundam shop or any shop selling anime merchandises of anything? Well if you are which ones (and most trust worthy) deliver to Canada and have an option to "pay on delivery with cash"? Since I don't know much since I never really tried (with most sites being pay by card anyways) I'm just seeing how far I could go with this.
  4. heh, well its from the Astray (Gundam Seed) storyline and I must say theres some pretty cool hidden mobile suits in there. Heres my favourite one from Astay http://gundam.wikia.com/wiki/ZGMF-X12A_Testament_Gundam http://www.dannychoo.com/slide/eng/charahobby2007/16196/photo/Gundam/ Spreading viruses to infect enemy fighters and mobile suits? Thats my kind of fighting right there. Toy around with the small fries and have a nice fight with the big boss. Basically go around infecting those in range and shoot on the ones that don't get infected or take too long.
  5. Donno if you can merge, must be a faq somewhere tho ???
  6. I made the Petro Community merge with the Hookedonspore forum. We're ranked in the 2300 area.
  7. Gamers like us. Of course the lurkers also who don't join up or post anymore.
  8. Silly Evaders, I know your busy but common http://pff.swrebellion.com/index.php?topic=4196.0
  9. Basic Unit list: Basic list goes as shown: United Nations Spacy: Structures: - United Nations base - Alaska - Macross (crashed on earth and refitted with human technology) - Main base or secondary base Resource: - Self generated through ship (when in combat on the map) - Resource mechs and trucks, planes for quicker income gathering and trucks for a more land stable gathering. - Harvests downed units and any buildings the player feels like taking down. Military units: - Whatever the humans have in the game from tanks to infantry and the like - Planes to new transforming planes from flight, Gerwalk, and battroid mode (if possible). Example of such planes: http://www.mahq.net/MECHA/macross/zero/index.htm (Only look under UN Spacy - Mecha) - Also adding a massproduced VF-0D (best search results under google - web search), and a prototype YF-19 (google image search). Whoever has the game installed and is modding got any ideas if adding airfields is possible? Reasoning:
  10. Well then I guess sci-fi anime and the like is still in effect? Well they're the Empire after all and want to get the most out of their buck. They'd probably find the fastest and most efficient way to reap the rewards from us somehow. If they destroy us they lose another way to make money through trade.
  11. I watched 30 episodes of SDF-Macross in two days and was able to form these decisions below. Well if its like you said that three Imperial Star Destroys came out of hyperspace and in orbit around the earth just to get check us out then we both would be cautious. They could send probots and/or cloaked units on every part of the globe just to see whats what. If its only three Imperial Star Destroyers got to be safe then sorry right? So they would take time studying us that way or just do the below: If a landing ship did land and near a capital city (or just a city) just imagine the Star Wars fans thinking of them as people in costumes. To take the Imperials seriously there would have to be one Star Destroyer in the atmosphere and a few landing parties to join the ground with AT-AT, AT-ST & AT-AA escorts. Heck lets scare the population some more with Tie Fighters and Tie Interceptors so that they know the true power of the Imperials. Now the question is where would they land? Its a foreign planet with many cultures and you land on one its not really the same as the other nation's view points. Land in North America and you got two choices, America screws themselves over or the Imperials cooperate with the Imperials tripping the Americans over their feet for a job well done screwing up the plan for a pro-longed war with the Middle-Easterns. If they land in Asia such as China we could see some monstrous events happening such as misscommunication and what not. Land in Japan and you got two choices, take it over and add the Imperial economy or help the Japanese all the while backstabbing them since they're Imperials. Europe as a whole? very questionable but most likely Europe would retaliate or just chicken out like they've been doing since World War 2. Africa? The next Tatooine. Well as humans I say our fighting capabilities against whatever the ISD has (and if focusing purely on Air and land units) could be between 40-60%. We are pretty well handled for air to air combat so Tie Fighters would be scrap metal but come across a Tie Interceptor and we're good as toast. For land we could use our air superiority mixed with land based weapons to destroy AT-ST's but would air would be destroyed by AT-AA. We would have naval superiority until reinforcements came. Nukes? You mean those cowardly weapons? Ha don't make me laugh thats a retard's toy (no offense but seriously). As for space, we got zero combat abilities and if we wanted to stand a chance against them the world would have to stop fighting against one another and create worthy stuff. However you would have to do it Macross or Gundam style where one has to stop bitching at one another for their own game, ya good luck with that. Well we could
  12. Common people your being rude, at least start a thread of your own Happy 2008 Lets hope this brings positive change to the world where people will stop being lazy and at least create something new ;D.
  13. Possibly, I haven't seen EVA that far so it'll take me awhile. Glad I can keep up with most of the references that goes on in Lackista.
  14. Hey hey too many parodies! We got Initial D on episode 6 here. It made another damn reference I didn't know (the part where a girl just floats underwater in the same spot). Credits are hilarious.
  15. Hey how many stormtroopers do you find dancing freely? I do mean freely and not fan filmed. I got a mission for you guys and gals, find as many stormtrooper videos as you can from around the globe and post em here. Oh and some shameless advertising to the blog that showed me it: http://www.dannychoo.com/blog_entry/eng/1218/Shibuya+Trooper+Uncut/ and http://www.dannychoo.com being the main page.
  16. Third Season of Hell Girl. This sure seems interesting and I get to see more of the corrupt society http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2007-12-28/third-hell-girl-anime-series-greenlit-for-production For those just lurking check out the first and second season when you can, its worth it. Here I thought that the second season had a crazy way of ending it so now I get to see it end in a different way. sidenote: ain't my fault that nobody comments much on this forum anymore except for me, droid and dragons.
  17. Lol the person who made it either must be the Haruhi author or must like it so much that he/she created this series referencing to it. Lol funny stuff.
  18. Hey I ended up watching this after seeing so many videos and pictures of it. I'm on episode 4 and wanted to say I came across a reference to Kanon where this girl called Ayu. So its random yet it borrows from anime eh. Wonder if the first reference was to NHK. And yes its a 100% random episode. edit: Hey hey now we got a Haruhi reference with the chief thing. Then Shuffle with the chest joke and the hidden behind a curtain from Death Note : Next one looks like its based on AIR Tv from the preview.
  19. http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2007-12-23/japan-plans-147m-yen-to-spread-anime-manga-in-europe And here I thought anime was already popular in Europe. Guess not?
  20. Lol thats a pretty good list you got there Dragons Also added you to the friend list. Now I just need to awaken AT-AT and Patsred from their slumber. They've been awfully quiet lately. Woot for anime and its intelligence!
  21. Just seen the Death Note special and I must say its a pretty good recap of the original show. I like the new scenes they added including remixed opening music used in the show. BANZAI!
  22. Woot, well sounded like you were pissed there for a moment. Was just trying to see what you seen so I could see what I whats interesting in the realm of anime. So anybody else care to make an anime list on there? Ah the curiosity and the good old sushi. offtopic: What I find funny is how the hatred for America runs deep since you hear their name always in negative spot light. References: Blood+ with modified humans and those taken into custody. Neon Genesis Evangelion episode 7 with the budget (the UN Plane scene). Oh and interesting how they are friendly to Europeans such as French and German people. Heck even Czechoslovakians who are now Czech Republic and Slovakia Samurai Champloo, Noir, Blood+ I laugh now everytime I hear the words "xenophic dicks". Japan just happens to like their culture more then others but prefer Europeans over Americans (in 90% of the time). Not trying to pick on the Americans but I just find it funny how they're always in a negative spot light.
  23. Ah to not create so many threads I'll keep these three in one thread. Oh and sorry if I sum this up as advertisement but I don't want to spoil it Jigoku Shoujo, Hell Girl with three other henchman. A female, a teen male and an old man send people's grudges to hell through accessing Hotline to hell. Every episode shows people's grudges being sent to hell basically showing what humanity do to their enemies. Will they simply degrade themselves or will they finally prevail? 100 Tales, a guy who is a book writer in feudal era Japan goes out to write 100 stories of the supernatural. He travels to a Inn and finds a group of strange people trying. Someone who sinned shall perish since sins turn into demons. xxholic, a high school student who is able to see spirits and demons is summoned (by force) to a shop that sells wishes for a price. The price being you must give something precious in return like a watch or something dear to you. Well these are fun series and I finished two season of Jigoku. I enjoyed seeing different ways at how people act when stuck in certain situations and how they react to such harmful events. 100 tales is similar that it has a group like Jigoku but they go after inhuman sinners or those who sinned by killing humans. xxxholic is more of a comedy supernatural with the main character resembling that of an adult Hell Girl, Enma Ai.
  24. Yes and I'm enjoying it. However we need the Gundams to at least fall prey to someone unlike in episode 9-11. Hey what the hell 9/11 Conspiracy theory! Anyways that aside I do enjoy this show since it shows how much people can do and how the world would react if you managed to form such a strong faction. I want to see more Flag fights and probably more prototypes that both work efficiently and inefficiently at the same time. Prototypes are just that, new toys needing to be tested. As for the Gundams nice to know they went out of the boring loop of society but they sure got problems of their own both technologically and mentally. Technological being their ship isn't armed with weapons and the pilots need more common sense.
  25. Haven't seen the end but if there is a third season I hope it deals with a new group of people somewhere in a European setting this time other then Japan. Well thats a long shot but Blood+ managed to go to Vietnam and France a few times. Well then I'ma watch Higurashi tomorrow during the night time like I have before and probably might make it a special viewing. Ah the good old days being sadistic seeing red from the ending theme (or black). Hanyuu~ Well hope I get to see her freaky eyes again to change the fate itself. edit: http://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=9377 lol! There ya have it. The greatness prevails but can I get a longer season out of the short anime such as Karas? Or what about uh.....turning Persona into an anime? Due time? Never? Ah well Foklore would make an interesting anime but guess its better as a game. edit#2: I'm at episode 20 and did a 3 episode thing in an hour and 10 minutes. See what you can do when you put your all into a plan? The impossible becomes possible .
