Well then a price? Well then thats good since it would be pure ownage if they just kept respawning and used as a hero army Juggernaut have fun making them dead
-
Actually I bet you can. In Star Wars Rebellion you could save a campaign to the host's computer and start from there the next time you were against each other. So simple that everybody is looking for a complicated answer Well you save when theres a least chance of a battle so then you can easily get back in gear the next day or week and figure out what you were trying to do

When heroes die, should they be respawnable?
Ghostly_Substance replied to Naja's topic in EAW General Discussion
Well they should die or people would use them as a 1 person army and you would be crushed becaues of that. Imagine Darth Vader force crushing tanks and force pushing troops. Then Mara Jade swiftly attacking any troops trying to take over the base. Boba Fett flying around and killing stuff while his defences are at his base. Now imagine you playing the way you should and you get owned by his 3 hero army. Well heroes should die and stay dead but they should get healed also from bacta tanks that are weirdly places outdoors. Would you like to see heroes owning your hard earned units like they were nothing ? -
I'm guessing you'll see dancers outside of the Cantina or maybe some random race event.

Grunge, Punk, 80's rock or Chav?
Ghostly_Substance replied to Grand Admiral Thrawn 889's topic in The Bar
You guys suck Seriously its different then rap so now that rap is dead dont hate on trance now. Listen to it and you'll know trance is good. You do know I can make you bow down to me The world likes trance since its not about drugs and girls 99% but its a state of mind, if your sad the trance is sad and if your happy the trance is happy. Trance was invented to keep us relax or to help us dance. I think it was ignored because people dont pay much attention to other genres only to the ones they like and if you biasly hate trance then good for you. Another thing ya you do see girls in trance videos but so does other genres. -
yay 2 votes for Zabrak

I hope the mod switcher is something like in Civ 4 and EA's Battlefield games

How can you not know of Trance.............. -
Well Fosh you can take care of Event 3 and 4 and i'll take care of the 5th. I wont be joining in Rebellion since it ticked me off with the maintainence part.
-
Well people had the game but didn't join so event two was a failure but at least I played with Josh but it wasn't official. Well since nobody responded i'm not going to waste anybodys time so i'll say RON event is over unsuccessfully. Fosh will take over event 3 and 4 with Rebellion and whatever game and i'll vote on what game to make into an event after Fosh's 2 events. Anyways thought i'd let you know that event 2 was a failure but event 1 was a success.

NAIROBI, Kenya Pirates armed with grenade launchers and machine guns tried to hijack a luxury cruise liner off the east African coast Saturday, but the ship outran them, officials said. Two boats full of pirates approached the Seabourn Spirit about 100 miles off the Somali coast and opened fire while the heavily armed bandits tried to get onboard, said Bruce Good, spokesman for the Miami-based Seabourn Cruise Line, a subsidiary of Carnival Corp. The ship escaped by shifting to high speed and changing course. "These are very well-organized pirates," said Andrew Mwangura, head of the Kenyan chapter of the Seafarers Assistance Program. "Somalia's coastline is the most dangerous place in the region in terms of maritime security." The attackers never got close enough to board the Spirit, but one member of the 161-person crew was injured by shrapnel, cruise line president Deborah Natansohn said. The vessel's 151 passengers, mostly Americans with some Australians and Europeans, were gathered in a lounge for their safety, Good said. None were injured. "Our suspicion at this time is that the motive was theft," Good said, adding that the crew had been trained for "various scenarios, including people trying to get on the ship that you don't want on the ship." The British news agency Press Association said passengers awoke to the sound of gunfire as two 25-foot inflatable boats approached the liner. Edith Laird of Seattle, who was traveling with her daughter and a friend, told the British Broadcasting Corp. in an e-mail that her daughter saw the pirates out the window. "There were at least three rocket-propelled grenades that hit the ship, one in a state room," Laird wrote. "We had no idea that this ship could move as fast as it did and (the captain) did his best to run down the pirates." The Spirit was bound for Mombasa, Kenya, at the end of a 16-day voyage from Alexandria, Egypt. It was expected to reach the Seychelles on Monday, and then continue on its previous schedule to Singapore, company officials said. The 440-foot-long, 10,000-ton cruise ship, which is registered in the Bahamas, sustained minor damage, Good said. The liner, which had its maiden voyage in 1989, can accommodate 208 guests. "They took some fire, but it's safe to sail," he said. There has been a steep rise in piracy this year along Somalia's nearly 2,000-mile coastline, with 15 violent incidents reported between March and August, compared with just two for all of 2004, according to the International Maritime Bureau, a division of the International Chamber of Commerce that tracks trends in piracy. In June, a U.N.-chartered ship carrying 935 tons of rice for Somali victims of the Asian tsunami was hijacked by pirates, who held crew members hostage for three months before releasing them. Somalia has had no effective central government since opposition leaders ousted dictator Mohamed Siad Barre in 1991. The leaders then turned on each other, transforming this nation of 7 million into a patchwork of battling fiefdoms ruled by heavily armed militias.

Dumbest, funniest, best moments in any game ?
Ghostly_Substance replied to Ghostly_Substance's topic in The Bar
LOL what side were you on? Lol. Civ 4: Worst: I get used by the Russian's and they beat me in a space race, Damn you Cathrina but I woulda helped you if you weren't using me Star Wars EAW (In my dream): I have a full force ready to take over a planet with my SD and tons and tons of Stormtroopers, Tie Fighters, and AT-AT but some invisible force keeps killing off my Star Destroyers one by one and all I see in space is AT-AT all frozen and Stormtroopers also frozen still in their "waiting for order" position. I then order all my new units to rally at a moon (even Stormtroopers and AT-ATs, dont ask ) and then my cellphone woke me up so I couldn't carry the rest out. Damn that one planet with its invisible forces and about 5 AT-ATs floating around with a pair of stormtroopers on the side all frozen up. edit: Warcraft 3: Me and Gen.Vader play online and I tried making a dragon army but the AI was so annoying that Gen.Vader kept on coming to protect my hide when I tried building a dragon tower. ONce I did AI crushed my plans then hunted Gen down then we both lived until Gen died from the orcs. Damn you orcs. -
Well as I said before Heroes should die.If they dont it would be pure ownage and people would only control the heroes and not the army they controlled for defence. Well if they die you'll lose that advantage.

Units and time line theory
Ghostly_Substance replied to Jmaster3265's topic in EAW General Discussion
I was getting at that Imperials invented it and the defectors took the plans with them. If they stole it on land we could at least try and prevent them from escaping and re-capture the people who are stealin the plans. That cutscene of the Rebels escaping could be a failure cutscene so then we fail there (50/50 chance) as in using your tech against you. I'm not making the game (of course) but i'm just thinking what would work in my opinion. Rebels capture anything they can to use against you so they could capture AT-AT's so we could at least try and prevent them from stealing since it would bring more "challenge" to the Imperials besides having the advantage of brute force. Yes it might be weird for Imps having X-Wings but you know their paintjob, black and grey. Well we dont have the game yet and Petro does so only they know how the plot will exactly work out when you research and stuff like that. Little.B and Junker only had a taste of it. -
I didn't delete nobodys post I was editing the poll to add in a species which I shouldn't have.

Units and time line theory
Ghostly_Substance replied to Jmaster3265's topic in EAW General Discussion
Dont wanna start a flame or anything but what do you not get about "What you do effects the galaxy" and ya it might be a Rebel symbol we can still grab it like the Rebels can Destory the Death Star. Rebels stole a AT-ST so we can use our own tech against them since we had the Arc which now evolved into headhunter then X-Wing. Ya I might be over using that but thats what Petro/Lec said so if we're both wrong point the finger at the description not the devs -
I made a mistake, my vote goes to Zabrak so that "other" is actualyl supposed to be a 2 not 3. Zabraks are what Darth Maul is and I want to see waht else Zabraks have in store. The Empire used some of them but the rest stayed neutral or joined the Rebels.

Alien Factions That We May Expect to See Ingame
Ghostly_Substance replied to Nevets's topic in EAW General Discussion
Well if you look at the Royal Guards, The Emperor trained any race willing/forced to protect him and doesn't matter if your humanoid or droid you still will be in Royal Guard possition and thats if you survive the harsh training. The Empire also has few alien races but its not noticable since they're always hidden in some form of armor. -
Units and time line theory
Ghostly_Substance replied to Jmaster3265's topic in EAW General Discussion
Well it orginally belonged to the Empire so well the Rebels stole the Tie Hunter and that was a Imperial design. You make the history and so does the AI or the other player Anyways gotta stop using that excuse so I will say, whatever you do effects the galaxy -
Don't worry about date and time. Just come, read and post here. exactly
