  1. I noticed a while back that the Super-weapons are referenced in the factions.xml.... Death_Star Maybe this somehow enables the button.

  4. In reading the game manual, Auto-resolving a battle does result in larger casualties, thus the difference from tactical health, and autoresolve health.
  5. Exactly, but now you replace the ordered attack with one you want. Or try to reprogram the GUI. Good luck.
  6. As I said above, you can add more abilities without adding a button. Special_Attack Yes 0.0 250.0 1.0 0.0 0.01 0.2 Structure Earthquake_Dust_Particles Now look at the I changed Palpys force lightning from "user input" to "special attack" now he uses lightning when prompted to attack the , just like the above attack structures code above. What I did is allow for another user activated(button) attack. Hope this helps you a bit!
  7. No problem, looking forward to it. Nobody else has attempted a new campaign, so this will be unique! Wish i had time to do so myself. You said you were using some of my story triggers, let me know if you need a special .lua script other than what I provided. I'll see what I can do.
  8. Just offhand, some of the "SFX Button_Press", are "SFX Button Press", no "_". some are not in caps(not sure if it makes a difference.
  9. If this helps I've never had an exception from a bad story.xml, or .lua script, unless it was xml syntax. It will not fire if it does not have the proper paramaters, so your error is in the new units. Mostly likely not the particles either.
  10. I was able to make a ground unit(copy of plapatine) have his force lightning autofire against certain units, and then filled that ability with another new one.
  11. A couple things off the top of my head... First the particle editor shows the particles amplified, so when they are in game they are much smaller. Second is it a burst particle, or continuous stream. Burst particles my have to have a longer life to been seen clearly. You may have to attach it to a model.
  12. Starviper_Team is the "container" name, containers group units together so when you select one fighter you select the whole squad. The proper spawn should be Starviper_Squadron. You said you "give the ship the ability to spawn ships," does that mean you gave it the SPAWN_SQUADRON?

  15. Cool, glad to see somebody starting a scripted campaign! I have not had time to start one, but since I learned the story mode, and .lua editing, I think I can make a really challenging, and fun campaign. Since it's been awhile since I messed with the story_conquer trigger, I don't remember, but recall I've had problems with it. In the end I figured it out though. I'll let you know. EDIT: Try this....Empire, who does the conquering.(No param2)
