Good Afternoon. Welcome to the second lesson. Taking out Mon Cal Cruisers. Straight forward right. Take out the Hard points. They have few weapons so it should be straight forward right?? Wrong!!! 1st take out the fighters. Ignore the cruisers, the ISDs can soak up the fire from the Cruisers. The fighters however with the Ion cannons should be primary concerns. Take out the Y-wing Bombers with your bombers and take out the A-wings/X-wings with support craft and Massive groups of TIES. Then Assault the Cruisers with everything you have. Get the Bombers after the shields and weapons. The TIE fighters will take out the hull hardpoints and with anyluck some of the weapons aswell.

Well I'm not sure if The Petroglyph people have considered that yet, would be cool to hear James Earl Jones, Bill Williams, Denis Lawson, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hammill and Harrison Ford reprising they're role in the SW series.

Umm...Cry probably. Call for backup!! If no Reinforcements available....use all the ships and take out the Interdictor i admit that you would lose all the fighters and maybe just escape with a battered Carcass of Home one however you may be able to resurrect the ship at the shipyards.

Seewolf. You make a good point about not destroying the SSD however I am making the point of any battles in the Asteroid belts and Nebula clusters. Simple ways to take out the Imperial Capital ships. I will shortly post something about taking out Mon Cal Cruisers.

Luke Skywalker and Han Solo join the Rebel Alliance. Grand Moff Tarkin dies in the destruction of the Death Star. Admiral Ozzel is killed by Darth Vader for incompetence and Captain Piett assumes command of Vader's fleet. Luke Skywalker discovers Yoda on Dagobah, but halts his training and promises to return. Boba Fett is imprisoned in the Sarlacc, but its stomach does not like his backpack propulsory rocket-pack and the Sarlacc ejects him. Warlords begin to wage war over Jabba's criminal empire. Luke returns to Dagobah to keep a promise to complete his training. Yoda dies of old age after confirming that Darth Vader is Luke's father, and also tells of another Skywalker. It is revealed by the spirit of Obi-Wan Kenobi that Leia Organa is Luke's sister. Luke passes this information on to her on Endor. The Battle of Endor. Lando Calrissian, Wedge Antilles and Nien Nunb destroy the second Death Star, virtually ending the Galactic Civil War. They had help from the Ewok's fighting through Imperial forces to let a squad reach a ground station that emitted a protective force field around the Death Star. The Empire is brought to an end and begins to tear itself apart through warlordism. Admiral Piett dies when the Executor crashes into the Death Star. Darth Vader/Anakin Skywalker is turned back to the light side of the Force by the efforts of Luke Skywalker. Anakin Skywalker destroys Palpatine, saving his son's life. He thus fufills the prophecy and brings balance to the Force by eliminating the Sith. Luke cremates Anakin's body on Endor. Luke sees the spirits of Anakin, Obi-Wan and Yoda during the celebration on Endor. Star Wars: The Truce at Bakura The Rebel Alliance becomes the Alliance of Free Planets and recruits systems across the galaxy for the reformation of the Republic. Battle of Bakura: First ceasefire between Alliance and Imperial forces, though only so they could unite to drive away the Ssi-ruuk invaders. Bakura leaves the Empire. One month after the Battle of Endor, Mon Mothma declares the restoration of the Galactic Republic; the Alliance of Free Planets becomes the New Republic. (Date locked by the Essential Chronology) 5 ABY Luke Skywalker attains the rank of General. Six months later, after Imperial forces under the command of Lord Shadowspawn fought to the last man against his army, he retires from the military. Isard fakes her death and disappears. 8 ABY Leia Organa marries Han Solo. Prince Isolder allies the Hapes Consortium with the New Republic. Imperial warlord Zsinj dies. 9 ABY Star Wars: The Thrawn Trilogy Jaina and Jacen Solo are born to Leia Organa and Han Solo. Grand Admiral Thrawn's attempt to destroy the New Republic and restore dignity to the Galactic Empire fails. He is subsequently assassinated. Obi-Wan Kenobi's spirit moves on. Final Destruction of Palpatine's first Galactic Empire: The Emperor returns again, but Empatajayos Brand destroys his life-force. Brand dies and Palpatine is ultimately dead. R2-D2 destroys Eclipse II and the Galaxy Gun, causing the destruction of the Imperial Fleet of Palpatine and planet Byss, where cloning machines of Palpatine are located. Anakin Solo is born to Leia Organa and Han Solo. 11 ABY Luke Skywalker establishes a Jedi academy on Yavin 4. The New Republic establish the Star Tours travel company. R2-D2 and C-3PO are sent to help safe guard the passengers. The New Republic attacks the Death Star prototype built by Maw Instillation and guarded by Admiral Daala's Star Destroyer squadron. 19 ABY Star Wars: The Hand of Thrawn A plan to restore the Empire's stature using an imposter of Grand Admiral Thrawn is foiled. Luke Skywalker marries Mara Jade. The New Republic and the remains of the Empire sign a peace treaty ending all legalized conflict between the Empire and the New Republic. 23 ABY Jacen and Jaina Solo, now Jedi at Luke Skywalker's academy, fight against the Second Imperium, which attempts to disrupt the peace between the New Republic and "Imperial Remnant," as it had become known, and restart the Galactic Civil War. 24 ABY The "Diversity Alliance," an extremist anti-human organisation, is defeated by the New Republic. 25-30 ABY Star Wars: The New Jedi Order The Yuuzhan Vong invade the galaxy. Chewbacca dies at Sernpidal, when a moon is pulled out of its orbit and crashes into its planet. The New Republic Historical Council sets the year of the Battle of Yavin to the year zero, adopting the current date system. Ben Skywalker is born to Luke Skywalker and Mara Jade. The Yuuzhan Vong conquer Coruscant, and the New Republic ceases to exist. Anakin Solo dies. The New Republic is replaced by the Galactic Federation of Free Alliances. Coruscant is liberated from the Yuuzhan Vong. Zonama Sekot forges a peace accord between the Galactic Alliance and the Yuuzhan Vong. The war ends after five years.

As a veteran of the Clone Wars, Rom Mohc saw firsthand both the limitations and the advantages of battle droid infantry. When he rose to power as a general in the Imperial military, he masterminded the dark trooper project, which would result in an advanced battle droid meant to serve as a "super stormtrooper." This ambitious project was developed in stages, as concept droids proved the feasibility of Mohc's designs. The Phase One dark trooper had an unfinished appearance, with an exposed metal skeleton cast of hardened phrik, a durable alloy mined primarily from the Gromas moons. The trooper was a towering humanoid, armed with a razor-edged carving blade and arm-mounted blast shield. Its programming was primitive, and its drive to attack was relentless. The Phase Two trooper was much more refined, bearing a gunmetal gray armored exterior reminiscent of stormtrooper uniforms. Equipped with a repulsorlift pack and maneuvering jets, this massive automated soldier was extremely agile, and typically armed with a powerful plasma shell assault cannon and long-range explosive rockets. The final and most powerful model was the Phase Three dark trooper. Only one was known to exist, in the personal employ of General Mohc. A towering goliath with broad armored shoulders, this dark trooper could operate independently or be used as an armored powersuit. Connected to its massive arms were a deadly cluster of firing tubes which dispensed a seemingly endless supply of seeker rockets. The dark troopers were first unleashed shortly after the Battle of Yavin, on the unsuspecting Alliance installation of Tak Base. The Empire launched the droids via hyperspace capsules, in a fashion similar to the distribution of deep space probe droids. The inhuman soldiers tore through all resistance, and devastated the Rebel outpost on the planet Talay. Investigating this disturbing new assault was Alliance mercenary Kyle Katarn. He uncovered the secret dark trooper project, and traced it back to its source, the immense production facility aboard the Arc Hammer, General Mohc's flagship. Katarn infiltrated the Arc Hammer and sabotaged the titanic vessel. The Emperor was so infuriated by the loss of the Arc Hammer, and the incredible investment in the dark trooper project, that all research into stormtrooper battle droids ended with Mohc's death. A Beast Wars of Onderon Game set during the Sith War!!! That would lead to a whole new game. You are Darth Revan and have to defeat them only to be converted to the Dark side after all your work. Or maybe you are Ullic Quel Droma and lose the force. You can't use any force abilities but still are amazing with your lightsaber.

I was also taking into account mentions from the X-wing Saga with the Hunt for Zsinj and the Iron Fist and the final battles at Sellagis and wherever the joint Rebel/Empire Taskforce fought him.

The Chiss were a powerhouse as the Empire of the Hand had been absorbed into the CEDF for the war against the Killiks. I would however love to see an expansion with the Chiss, Ssi-ruuk and Vong in it.
