I regained her back. I had several fleets since I controled all of the galaxy except for like 3 planets.

I won my first campaign today playing in the small map of the galaxy. I started off this game with the allies, I kept getting crushed by the star destroyers so I just decided to switch over to the empire to see if it would make a difference..then I saw the alliance had the advantage of diplomacy and people to research technologies so I started playing as the alliance a few days ago. I noticed that the most important things are the shipyards, so I got about 10 recon y-wings and sent them all over the place. I got all the planets with shipyards to join me and started pumping out ships like a maniac. I guess my most important and powerful planet was Mon Calamari, the surrounding planets where pumping out a lot of stuff too so I decided to create a fleet for Mon Calamari. The empire tried to get me first but I kicked them out, then when I had that fleet, I built another one(at this point I had a lot of planets that where "uknown" due to the exploration missions, I got transports from Yavin and started dropping off soldiers everywhere). Once I had a second fleet(very large) I started to attack the empire where it had it's shipyards. I just kept pumping out ships everywhere. Then Luke,Leia and Chewbacca got captured, out of no where they attacked obra skai and Chewbacca and Wedge got killed in the process. I pulled off a rescue mission and got them back..while I did that, they attacked another planet and got Mon Mothma and Dodona. While this happened I was pumping out ships to land an assault on Coruscant. First assault was made out of about 7-8 Corellian gunships,2 mon calamari cruisers,4 corellian corvettes and a few bulk cruisers. One star destroyer arrived..as well as a bunch of small cruisers and about 20 tie interceptors. I got crushed but I mannaged to bring down a few of the cruisers with me and killed a few Imperial characters in the process. Second assault was like 3 times bigger and I had more advanced ships and I mannaged to pull it off and captured Vader and Palpatine right there.. Now: time to play the second bigger map and see how it goes

yeah I was very pleased with Han solo too. It would had been great to see different characters in different levels, even if they are non-playable. Like in a space battle going around the cruise ship and finding Ackbar standing right there.

I suppouse that can be an advantage of the computer version. That you can add mods and skins.

I thought it would had been pretty cool if they had added some expanded universe characters like Kyle Katarn but I can understand why they woudln't do that since most people who play this game don't really know much about expanded universe.

I don't know why Leia is in the game..to be honest i would rather see another Jedi like Plo Koon in there than Princess Leia, but that's how it works I guess.

I think they had the potential to make the campaign AMAZING but they didn't pull it off. I think the campaign is nice but I mean..think of the possibilities with all the options the game has.

now I am more aware of this things. I am still kind of new to the game so I am still picking up on certain things. But I feel the improvement as far as game play goes..I am actually winning battles now, before it was more like survivor.

I heard that in the development stages they did have the Bespin levels, even in some demos. Both Bespin levels where combined(somehow..), you could fight in platforms and you could fly to part of the city. But you are right about the jedis in the bridge. I saw a terrible glitch. I was playing in the tantive IV and I got Vader, I did a jump and I flew right out of the ship I fell and died and I had to fight to get points all over again

I am low on money at the moment so I haven't picked it up, however... Today I was at the mall and I dropped by at EB games and got to play it for a bit( I also have the demo but I wanted to try the final product). I liked it enough to re-asure myself that I must purchase it, but at the same time I was kind of dissapointed. I was very excited about this game coming out and I think it's a pretty good improvement over the first one, but it just dosn't seem to live up to the hype. Playing as heroes is not as fun as I thought it would be and the space battles are fun and everything but it just feels like something is missing. And I do agree about the emphasis on episode III, was I the only one upset over the fact that they took out the Bespin levels?

I don't know, I think this game cheats against me.. i was playing and it told me that Han Solo is in Orto, I had a fleet nearby so I loaded it up with: -3 divisions of Stormtroopers -4 army regiments I bombarded the planet until there was only the mon cal but they woudln't die so I just said "Ok I should just go in for the assault". And the mon cal division destroyed all 7 of my divisions. How is that possible?

Alright I just gone playing and I seem to be doing much better now. I still keep getting over-powered but now I atleast win some of the battles. 50/50 i would say. I am pumping mon-cal cruisers with x-wings and those seem to be helping a lot.
