Wow, wouldnt it be great if we could get a decent save game editior built? It'd be great for setting up games to go with custom mods and TC's. -
What an age we live in. Now if only we can hold off on Nuking each other we might really get somewhere. Holy crap, the guy's confident that this new TV will kill the Plasma?

Either way you could look up his family name in the phone book. What was it again? I'm in a hurry and dont feel like searching back through the thread to find out right now.

Taiwan was about to declare Independance in 2005 until the Chinese government passed a resolution that they would invade if they did so. ...yeah. -
So, yes. We need to get in contact with the people form his home town somehow. Preverrably before the 2 years is up. (It was 2 years right?) That means if someone has to go there then fine, I'm all for that. I'd go myself but he's not exactaly within 3 hours driving distance for me. Just use the local phone book from a booth and atleast deliver a letter to someone that can get it to him. You know, the following (forum names here) have been trying to get in contact with you for awhile, etc. Whoever does this include your return address and then Xan can mail back.

Then there's the deal made beween Russia, China and Iran over Oil. North Korea has the world's attention. Iran is thereby freed up a bit to do what they want. -

(Was going to write something Wednesday but never got arround to it. Things still just as bad in Afghanistan. Up's and downs in violence but it's the same old story. Not enough troops to hold an area for long. The Taliban seem to know what they're doing when they choose attack NATO forces. Mortar Fire from far back while a team with AK's and RPG's go in closer. Seems fairly professional to me. NATO still shouting for more troops. Pakistan annoyed that Western countries are cying so much over the casulties they're taking when they've lost something like 700 troops on their side of the border fighting the Taliban. - - - Iraq seems locked in a never ending downward spiral of self destruction. Time and again Amarican troops will clear an area of Bagdad but the Iraqi police and military will turn out to have whole units that are allowing insurgents through thier check points. You've got 15,000 US troops in a city of millions with what seems like less and less help dealing with insurgent forces from the locals. The city that was intended to become the strong point for the rebuilding of the country is turning into a black hole. It seems to me that it is fast becoming a focal point. All the Taliban and other extreamist groups have to do is keep pouring resources into that one place now. All they really have to do now is keep small forces in other parts of the country to make sure the coalition doesn't pull troops from those areas and back to the capital. It's a classic case of Rebels vs Imperials despite ideological diffriences. The Star Destroyer fleets, in this case the stryker armoured vehicles and other heavy equipment, can only be in so many places at once. The insurgents just need to hide a weapon and slip into a crowd of people. Or leave a bomb somewhere and detonate it froma few blocks away. Hit and run tactics. The plane Coldolesa Rice was on had to delay it's landing at the city airport because of firefights nearby. That is a bad sign. The airport should be one of the most secure places in the city. The US needs their Airpower and they dont normally screw arround when it comes to defending it from ground threats. Saw the other day that another province in Iraq finally was setup to look after itself. I think that was... uh number two. Do I think that this is going to be resolved anytime soon? No. Do I think the US should just pull out it's toops now before the civil war in the country becomes full blown? Normally I'd say no, I mean you cant just run away from a problem like this, but it's getting *pritty* bad. -
It's October! Anyone thinking of going out for Halloween this year? I know, most of you are old enough that it's not really foremost in your minds. If you even have halloween where you live. ( Do they have halloween in Australia? I wouldnt mind knowing. ) I've started the first steps of preparing a costume. IF I go out this year, which I haven't in ages. The last time(s) I went out I made up a pair of stilts. Unfortunately they wern't all too stable. The second time I used them they worked better. Trial and error. It helped that I used a pair of old ski poles to keep me from falling over. Perhaps I'll make myself a cane if I use those things again. This year if I finish the costume in time I shall be going as a soldier from WW1. The Great War. The War to End all Wars. That really muddy ugly one that people would really rather forget. Needless to say finding a pattern even close to what I'll need was bloody hard! I've ended up having to take a pattern from a woman's outfit that I'll modify slightly. I was supprised by the number of woman's outfis that are basically men's clothing from onehundred to threehundred years ago. I saw one in the catalogue at the cloth store that looked a bit like a musketeer's outfit for women. Another was a little girl's jacket with the same sort of cut one might see worn by an officer or nobleman in 1800's Europe. I haven't done any sewing in ages. I had to have been something like nine years old. Perhaps an exageration but I can't even remember the last time I used the machine.

Before I lose access to the internet for awhile again I thought I'd post an evolution of the previous vehicle I threw in here. http://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h293/Defender_16/TF-44GSUPaint2.gif This is a ground support varient of the starfighter from before. It's underside missile bays and drop tanks have been replaced with more powerfull repulsors, armour, and thruster vents should the repulsors fail. The two topside attachment connectors have been fitted with a manned turret module. The main engines have also been covered with heavy armour to prevent shoulder fired weapons from entering exhaust ports.

Good to hear you're out of the hospital. Dialysis, not so good to hear but it's still better than the alternative. Hope things get better for you somehow. Sorry I'm not online so much, been off the net for the past few days and will be offline more often than not so I may not see you on MSN for awhile..

I can't draw people worth crap without a refrence. Even then I'd be reluctant to post it.

That was... that was, that was, that was... It all makes so much sense now! All of my concepts on cross time-line and temporal travel all work so much better now!! I understand! I understand EVERYTHING!

I think I'll take a trip to the dollar store before hand the next time I plan to go see a movie. It cost me more than ten bucks to get a bag of Twizlers, a small bottle of Coke and tiny box of Recces pieces. At most that should have cost me 6 dollars! -
Each time you put up that link for the Darwin awards I spend even more time looking arround that sire Tofu. I liked the one where the shop mechanic was trying to break open RPG rounds to use the casings for scrap metal. Stop messing with the professor's head Cosby in millionaire It's time to fave! It's time for one of my miraculous MS Paint starfighter designs. This one came to me today in the car while listening to Coldplay on the radio. http://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h293/Defender_16/TF-44BWSL.gif Space superiority fighter and fleet defense interceptor. Is not optimized for atmospheric use but is capable of entering an atmosphere. Can be equiped with booster units sporting additional weapons seen at right. While the maintinence required on these vehicles is more than it's predecessor the Star Shrike, these have seen use more in peace time than war. Because of this they are considered as a more untested design compared to other fighters like the ever present Star Hawk and Thunderchild. Simulations between these diffrient craft routinely come out in draws but most pilots swear by the two older designs. In atmosphere the Fighter relies either upon their Repulsors for most manuverability or the powerful engine's straight line speed. Planetary Militia have been known to use the fighters as heavily armed ground skimmers. Though unusually never encountered in this role, it has been shown to have success as their heavy armour is impervious to most light anti-tank fire.

If you were reading it in another thread, (perhaps the movie theatre thread?) you could have posted in there rather than starting totally new topic. -for future refrence. The most I've ever smuggled in was a couple cans of No-name branb coke, a large bag of twizlers, and a ziplock bag full of halloween candy. This was nearing winter time so I had a fairly bulky coat at the time which was still a size too big for me. (Actually I think I still use the inner liner of that coat as a jacket. ) -
OOC: Means you're posting too often. But back to the chat thing, I have MSN. I dont have any clue as to where else we could find a free chat room for this.

I got the game T.A.W. Total Air War for Christmass one year. (I did NOT ask for it.) In it you can fly the F-22... and only the F-22. There was litterally every combat aircraft in use in the world durring the 1990's in this game. Could you fly any of them? No. Did the F-22 have any Stealth characteristics in the game? No. (Though the range at which you could be detected was half that of other enemies. ) Did the thrust vectoring do anything? No. Could you switch back to missiles after using guns for a bit? Heck no. (Jeez, I couldnt even figure out how to lock-on half the time.) Could the fighter in the game take on anywhere near the number of 4th Gen aircraft that the real one could? Not a chance. There's an example of classified information at work for ya. lol Um, JH. Just wondering, but what's with all of the "..." 's lately?
