I cant possibly have been the ONLY person that has played reinforcement mode

I LOVE the reinforcement option, but I'm stuck. I have the win condition set to Destroy All, and RU Injection on, with no research and no harvesting. My issue is I cant win, I tried to destroy the AI's Nav Buoy but none of my ships can destroy it, they just sit there. HELP!
