  1. Could you outline how one can do this, and a brief low down of why it might be better for older games? you right click on the file and go to compatability and select Windows98/WindowsME compatability. and it *can* be better because older games were run to be native in windows 95 or 98 so runing in a compatability mode for either should yield a more stable gameplay. but it doesnt for me
  2. origionally yes, then i tried Win95, then i shut it off, no real difference in any of them.
  3. i tried launching from the LucasArts folder, i managed to play roughly 7000 days (i was playing on fastest mode for a few hours.) no crashes... perhaps launching from the AutoRun is my problem?
  4. Im sorry i know this has been asked many times, but i was not able to find a fix in all the current threads. i rarely play out the battles myself, but it seems that i often crash when i hit the simulate battle button. it comes up with a screen saying the program has encoutered an error or whatever. i use XP i have an ATI 9800xt (that seems like its been a problem in the past... my drivers are roughly 1/2 year old) anyways im sorry to ask but its very annoying to have to save after each battle
