  1. v28 gave me those bugs: no sound (HW has sound though, but not the mod) ISD II has firepower 0 Update on the sound issue: I have noticed that the mod makes all the folders (for saves, logs, screens and so on) at the place the *.lnk file is located, weird. However, it does - but not where it should (in the HW folder). Setting the proper path for the HW.exe in the link file does start the game, but without sound and the bug described above. Moving the link to the directory where the HW.exe is located does solve both issues: creating the folders outside of the HW directory and the sound issue. greets Homer
  2. SW has never cared for any (usefull) class destinctions. I'm not saying that I think it's a good way to deal with game material, but it's the way it's done. The only way to make classes out of ships is volume, but SW goes for length (if anything is used at all)- giving rather funny results considering the shape of many ships. The best way to deal with it would be volume, however, a typical SD is roughly 50 000 000 m^3 (a tad more within the +10% range) which would mean that battleships are at 10 000 000 m^3+ However, SSDs go for 12 000 000 000 m^3. The prime question is more if a SD is the battleship or the SSD as the SSD is pretty much 20 times bigger. But most usual hardcore fans will scream at you if you start viewing things unrelated to the incompetent SW EU authors point of view greets Homer
  3. Has someone taken the time to calculate the proper volume of the SW ships (which can be done based on the 3d modells, but I have no 3ds or the like software) ? I searched for it, but did not find alot (just for some models or totally inaccurate data). greets Homer
  4. Think about the name again. It's star destroyer. It's a name made from a meaning. = Ship that can destroy stars. Even though it is not meant in a physical way (like SD has the firepower to blow a planet up), but it has enough firepower to gun a civilisation on a planet back into the Stoneage, thus the name. greets Homer
  5. While browsing throught the shiplist I noticed that the Eclipse class (SSD) is not even noted, even though the Souverein class is (both are from the same source, Dark Horse comics, actually even the same comic). Why ? greets Homer
