Is version 1.1 of Homeworld 2 required to use the mod?

How long does the download for v0.26c? Its a zipped file so it shouldn't take as long but it seems to be taking a long time.

The problem is that when I don't make the file zipped it takes a long time. I tried to wait but this website turns the download off when you don't do anything on it. When I try to make it a zipped file it goes for 1 second and says its done. It says the file is 20mb even though its supposed to be 61mb. This might be because it is zipped and this shrank the file. When I go to extract the files it says there are no files to extract. HELP!!! IM SO CONFUSED!!! What should I do?

I tried to download v0.26c. When I tried to make it a zipped file it said the download was complete. Then when I tried to open it said that it was corrupt or something. So I tried to save it as a normal file. It took about 70 minutes to complete and when I tried to open it again it said it was corrupt. What should I do?
