  1. I would have to say the death star's superlaser is the coolest weapon. That thing owns!
  2. Wow, that's quite an accomplishment! About how many books is that?
  3. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. I don't believe anyone has been able to accomplish those things. It would possibly be even more difficult than finding and editing the speed at which characters currently travel between worlds (which at this time has never been done).
  4. That might well happen, but I think Lucas likes to include more plot depth than something simple like that.
  5. I can double-check through my stuff but I don't remember getting any sort of poster. I bought mine the week the game was released. I'm pretty sure it just came with a box, a CD in a hard plastic case, and the game instruction manual.
  6. Naboo didn't strike me as being an important world. Their technology didn't seem to propogate through the republic, they didn't have a large populace, they weren't a large manufacturer of goods, etc. The only thing that made it significant was Palpatine and the fact that Luke's mother was once queen there.
  7. The kicker to my prediction is that it's Palpatine that sets everything up in a plot to get Anakin to the dark side.
  8. I predict that Padme will die in the next movie. Anakin will be forced to choose again between his Jedi obligations and being with her. He again follows Obi-Wan's advice and sticks to the mission, and when she dies she'll blame him and the Jedi council for it.
  9. Bah should have been AFAIK. But then again I really meant "in fact".
  10. http://www.hasbro.com/r2droidfactory/ These look pretty cool! None of the places on the buy link seem to have any more, I think Hasbro quit making them. Anyone know where I can get one (in USA) besides on ebay?
  11. Yeah, this one cracked me up though
  12. Hmm... they want to? Well I suppose evil does good in a sort of way. After all, the planetary governors and their staff do pretty good for themselves. Also the people who show the most potential to subdue their underlings are highly favored too. IFAK the empire has the best rewards program in the galaxy! Just don't screw up
  13. I thought this was pretty funny http://www.theonion.com/news/index.php?issue=4019&n=2
  14. He just uses his force powers to choke women on the beach while saying "You will turn to the dark side or die". I think mixing up strategy each game helps make the game more interesting and sometimes you can stumble accross something that works really well. I imagine in MP you need to do this even more so you're opponent can't pridict what you're going to do and counter it.
  15. No! All will suffer That is why you fail. Fear is the path to the Dark side. Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to suffering. I sense much fear in you.
  16. Hate leads to suffering
  17. Nice artwork Fishface You play SFB too? It's been years, but I used to love playing it on hex sheets and SSD's. Cain, hehe I've been pretty swamped on getting feedback on the PII already I'll need to slow down a little after the next week or 2.
  18. Very cool to see more cards coming. I've only recently used RebEd and it's exciting checking out the new things people have made. I look forward to seeing them
  19. Trejiuvanat that was a rebed fleet? Was it a MP game? BTW I like to build DS a lot because it has an awesome bombardment. I sweep through with a regular fleet to kill fighters and then land with the DS a couple days later
  20. I found the answer you seek http://www.swrebellion.com/postt972.html Evaders99 "If you've edited the game, I recommend using RebED's Save Setting feature to transfer the edits to the other player. RebED does not allow you to cheat."
  21. Hehe, you've got me beat! I've never needed a fleet that big to win.
  22. I'd never have Leia do diplomacy right away. Get her to a planet and start recruiting as she's likely to find a new diplomat or 2 for you anyway along with the benefit of the other people you gain. For Luke it's a harder choice. He's not as good at recruiting as Leia and he's so versitile for other things as well. I look at my starting situation. If he's close to an Imperial planet that has a construction yard I'll sabotage it right away. If he's close to a planet with shaky loyalty I'll fix that right away. Assuming those situations are under control I'll send him off to help recruit new personnel.
  23. It really depends on several factors. Any planets you bring in are not going to necessarily help you. They will have little to no defense and you can't take too many resources away from your other planets to put into these new ones you aquire. Also remember these planets might be barely on your side and you could loose them very easy if one of your fleets looses a ship in the sector or the enemy is able to succeed in too many sabotage or uprising missions. But if you can gain some shipyards or something worthwhile, or if you are simply short on maintenance, then it might still be something worth doing.
  24. Here's a link on Death Stars: http://www.theforce.net/swtc/ds/ It has quite a lot about what we know of some of the features from what's seen in the films. I'm not sure if you'll find anything helpful but you might want to check it out .
  25. I'd have to say this is my favorite: http://www.theforce.net/swtc/Pix/laserdisk/sw6/ds2fire1.11.jpg I like this one because you always see ISDs over and over but it's harder to get good clear pictures of the rebel ships we know and love.
