  1. The Tyrant makes me mad when it slaughters my entire fleet in 3 volleys
  2. The Battle Dragon would probably be nigh-impossible to do what with the rotating saucer sections, but I will say right now that I would literally kill an innocent civillian and hold a pagan ritual sacrificing them to Roktar, God-Tower of the North, if it meant getting the Hapes Nova and Nova II Battle Cruisers.
  3. Eville has finals to do. Things are kinda on pause.
  4. ** Um...what do you mean what does it SAY? You want the ** story blurb? Just READ it if you have the book. Hrm.. *rummages around* I'll post in a few, i was reading it walking around the house last night and i'll be ** if i didnt set it down somewhere. (Editted by Evaders99 for language)
  5. The Prize Pelt: The Tale of Bossk is actually a really good one. The book is 5 short stories that tie into each other seamlessly. All if it is Lucasfilm approved canon. The stories: Therefore I Am - The Tale of IG-88 Payback - The Tale of Dengar The Prize Pelt - The Tale of Bossk Of Possible Futures - The Tale of Zuckuss and 4-LOM The Last One Standing - The Tale of Boba Fett
  6. The book is sitting next to me, if you'd like I can scan the pages in if I can get some hosting space.
  7. My source was Tales of the Bounty Hunters. IF you can show another source I'll concede
  8. An even more far reaching theory is the hyperspace coordinate theory. When Han Solo left Yavin 4 to leave, Chewbacca kept harassing him to go back and fight with the rebels in the battle of yavin. Han Solo had their next jump plotted and he was about to jump when his concience took hold and he went back to yavin, saved luke, and thus the death star was destroyed. If he'd have jumped, the rebellion would have been wiped out at the battle of yavin. -source: Tales of the bounty hunters
  9. Hahahaha. You're gonna be WEEPING when your Allegiance Destroyers get opened up from stem to stern, buddy.
  10. My feelings exactly. I like the way the Destroyer Yard looks and I havent played any game other than this mod for two weeks now. I have to say though, that my current biggest anticipation is the Viscount Strident Star Defender. Dont sweat the shipyard though. Its cool.
  11. But remember that an ISD lacks any sufficient antifighter weaponry. Against massive fighter swarms (that cost BILLIONS less to build and maintain than even an Imperiator I let alone a II or a Executor) an ISD is savaged and even with a large complement of fighters, fighters can be destroyed if outnumbered enough
  12. I was going by Star Wars canon, my bad, I forgot that we were talking about the mod. I'll concede the sheild tower point, but what about the giant, bulbous power generator protruding from the bottom? not exactly an easy target to miss.
  13. Aha, I acknowledge that Imperial fighter mass-production is very good, but the ISD has a critically awful design against fighters. The giantic, open shield towers? An ISD would cost BILLIONS of Imperial Credits to build, but a handful of rebel b-wings could bring one down with well placed torpedoes.
  14. This is the official Imperial vs Alliance thread for the Homeworld 2 mod. I'll start. I think that the Alliance is vastly superior. Why? Well, for one thing individual ship quality is superior. Just look at the fightercraft. Then, you have cost. Alliance ships are typically cheaper to build than their Imperial counterpart. An MC-80 can trade fire with an ISD I on nearly equal footing. Which costs more? The ISD by a lot. I acknowledge that the Imperials have the real heavy hitters. The Vengeance SSD. The...*gulp* EXECUTOR SSD, which I have never seen in-game for its massive build time and cost but am going to try tonight. The ships that blacken the sky. That make a rebel commander crap his pants. BUT. These ships are enourmously expensive, and if they are destroyed, the destruction can cripple an Imperial foe. Indeed, what with the cost of the incredibly powerful Executor SSD, an Imperial player risks ALL for these ships. The rebel commander's ships are typically faster, and much more technologically and aesthetically superior. Challenge that argument, impies
  15. Okay. I'll start one!
