From what I remember he once used RebEd quite well ....so. Anyway I wanted my tone to be recived "in a frendly way".

He,he,he You are getting old my friend RebEd.exe do not show in the Start/Programs (popup) go to the location you install it find the exe then make a shortcut for the desktop and instal your cards and TC's.

If you imagine that fighting romans is easy ...well you will see until then take your self some catapults ....I used this recepy for the julii : 5 Catapults 4 upgraded legionary cavalery ( more easy to retrain in new scityes ) 2 Generals 5 legionary units fully upgraded 2 units Mercenary War Elephants who usualy kill 400 enemys per battle each. The last game that I have started was with Chartage and it was very difficult until I get next generation units. BTW hmm i do not now were to put the new mod I even consulted my history books for years troops characters etc. In the mod you will play the gladiators .....and you can take over the world

WOOORAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I spent all the day tring to mod ROME and I did it ! I can do the same stuff that I can with the Rebed for Rebellion, just that here is all manual....I will do a new topic in the mods section. I can add new units ,modify stats make new campaigns ,new characters etc. I think in 2-3 days I will relese my first mod : Rome Total War : Spartacus About your game : well I also played the julii on hard/hard and I blocked the brutii and scipii by buyng major characters ,cityes and the rest Also I have tried to develop in their direction. Btw soon they will attack you try to find some war elephants mercenary units

I can't understand how do you guys test the AI ..... Can you see his ships ? How and were is building it ? His stupid moves and missions ? If so you would have noticed that the AI will assoult a planet only after probeing or spyng a planet. I have seen hudge fleets waiting for 2-3 probes to succed. So for God sake use the traitor/spy program to see what the AI is doing. It goes like this start 6 games make some important moves ;save and then change and see the AI ......imagine how much corect you get. The program is in the mod tools file in the PTESB TC. Hmmmm I think the Expansion Patch is missing who ever wants him just email me.

Sometimes I'm amaized when I see again this subject ....anyway.... The largest an extensive research in AI done with rebed and spy program is the PTESB : Ace Expansion Patch. About the imperials 1. Put the probes to cost 1/1; espionage 200; fight /200 2. Incrise the number of good diplomats. 3. Put the TIE to 1/1 costs. 4. Lower the cost of shypiards by 50% and stormy by 25%. 5. Incrise the speed of the ships and maintain the original prices or lower all by 30% ...remember that new prices always creates building problems. In the PTESB the AI will only build Victory I all the game but the Ace Expansion Patch fixes this and induces the corect number and ship types to be build by the AI. If you will install the PTESB and then the Patch you will see what I did for enabeling the Imperial AI to assoult from day 80 to 120.

Well I'm also playng the game to on hard/hard setting since it is more realistic It is very time consuming and yes there are somethings to be improved and the game to be made even more historycal with units and stuff....I don't know who they consulted but they missing alot of (nonroman) units hmm can we mod it just for fun ? You will play it sooner or later Also play it on hard/hard setting (Strategic and battlemode) it is the best setting

Well now around 125 BC teh Roman empire sends me a message that i have to comit suicide in the interest of the roman people.....yeah ....now I'm fighting the romans .....and I buy them I have almost 1.000.000 denaris so no army or city can face the power of my bribe ...Ahhhh I love my two elephant mercenary units ...they smash so cool in the enemy lines

hmmm I remember that we have the same age Mask 26 Btw Rome TW is a pure strategy game . If you love the rebellion feeling you should just try it for 1 hour. The usual reviews do not tell how much fun it is to playthis game..... for a strategy realistic gameplay art point of view.

You should try RebEd and instal a TC ...if it will not be fun and cool you can call me a monkey on the forums. Also I can tell you that the best total conversion on this site improves the actual art quality of the game....it is better than the original...also if the art improvements do not beat the original you could call me a monkey ..so just try it it will take you a max of 10 minutes and you have there th instal notes ...I usualy don't take monkey risks without beeing 100% sure

Hey guys...I'm playng the damn game for 4-5 days now and i only have 21 provinces and i have to do 50 to win....I started at 270 BC and now I am at 165 BC. Of course I restarted the game 2-3 times for more fun and playng on hard'hard setting who is more realistic. Btw you could play all the factions in the imperial campaign after you finish the roman one or as you defeat an Empire you get to play them. All units can be upgraded or retrained and all evolve and get skill bonuses in defence attack etc + the normal armor and weapons upgradeds. Also I managed to recruit with the romans two elephants mercenari uits and if you are careful you could take a city of 1900 defenders with 36 soldiers and 12 elephants...he he he if you manage to get them in close combat with no space betwen buildings and your elephants are upgraded.It is so fun watch the battle. The elephants are very hard to recruit and can only be found in some provinces....so I'm very careful with them. Hmm also I know a couple of "barbarian" units from Dacia wich are missing ....and they are all represented on Traian colom Also I can't find their official forum or a moding program like RebEd. Ahhh I can make the game more historycal.

Usualy in our country when we add y,i,nel etc to a name we want to spoil that child or individual in a nice way

Wow And I comsidered mine ancient ....the Geforce 2 at 64 is quite ancient almost all have from geforce 4 up. Anyways about Rome....I've decided to left the norden parts of italica give the cities to the Gauls in axchange for money and with some luck establis in Egypt conquer it and get Cleopatra. The god news is that now the Gauls are a pain in the but to the rest of the romans and the senate....I can wait for them to take Rome and I will go take it back for me...he,he

Yes the game is very addictive ...I spent 3 days now starting a second time..... and I only managed to conquer Namibia,Cartagena and buy with dinars from house bruti half of the Greace. Btw I have no major war going now and per turn I have like 10.000 denari so I can buy almost everything. I just bought Alexandria with an egyptian prince for 57.000 denari ...Only to give it up to stop the war and rebellions. Anyway my eyes hurt after so much play.....BTw I also bought 3 cityes from the Bruti and the senat requestet to give them back ...he he he no way. The Minimum system requirements are : GeForce 2 MX 400 64 Mb Pentium 3 1000Ghz 256 Ram I have this stuff and it works ...well not full terrain detail or to much smoke or dust but the troops are full detail. I am courious if after the main campain you will get to play other factions. Anyone around who get to be emperor ?!
