  1. I think this is the hardest map to design ... so how do you think the game designers make it - how we will move in that city ?! Did they added levels ? It will be interesting to know how we will fight there ... What you will design the map of your favorite planet ?

  3. Thanks Brett Btw do you have any good links for manager or manageing projects and tasks in a game company ? And standard communication procedures. They will tell me but any tips will help. PS. I've played Star Wars Republic Commando on a GeForce 2 MX at 64 mb and it works Anyway it is a good game - not the best SW game - but a very good FPS. With interactive elements and well balanced. The only thing I didn't like about FPS in general is that they force me to run on predeterminated paths.

Nice to seeya here again Delphi soon I will also join the industry and since I may choose to be a game designer for Ubisoft and then I will try to follow your same design style (* I can't make up my mind yet anyway Ubisoft or JAMDAT?!). Let's not go off topic ... so I will say that the most bugs this days can be found in different combinations of actions and locations by different units in relation to each other. Also some animations may not work as cool as intended or maybe the balance will not be perfect...etc. Btw I hope in the next preview I will find some new cool features activated. If LEC will allow the polish to continue until 2006 I'm sure no bug will be missed and all the game's features will run at 100%.

  16. "a very polished and moddable product".... I also think that, but I feel that the door in the EAW's game design is closeing soon .... so I wanted to make a final push. Usualy in the design of a game all the "maybe options" will no longer be "maybe" from one point in time. Anyway our main problem is that we have no clear clue about what's going on inside the EAW's game design at EAW but from Joe's words in the QA we know that they have alot of optional stuff that they could add or not add depending of their opinion if that stuff is good for the gamer or not ...etc. I'm not a game designer yet but I'm an old moder so the difference betwen me and a profesional game designer is that I was createing-building tractors (*agricurtural machine) and they create Ferraris (sport's car). Still I don't see much of a difference. Always remember Lamborgini's stroy. I have two interviews in the final stages. One at Ubisoft for Game Designer and one at JAMDAT for "Assistent Project Manager" something like that. Probably next month I will be in the industry so my presence here will drop a little.
  17. Yes its cool make them all The codeing is Keep the mouse when you writte a message over the URL option from up left and you will see that specific codeing showing up a little down. Anyway when you will add more of their adventures you could also add a news about the update in the news forum.
  18. Cool now you have a back door in the LEC forums did you see how ugly they look since you left ?! Anyway there is a new LEC jedi there that is closeing topics ... I have no clue who he is ... maybe the new Lead Producer. Sometimes I wonder what is so magical about the Petroglyph Office. I know all their adventures in the desert but I am still away from haveing a clear picture of whats happening now there that makes them the coolest developers on the planet. Can someone start some cool topics in the GD ?! I don't see any new ones.

  20. Hero ships like hero characters ?! Well I persoanlly have no clue. I just hope that the game designers finally decided this week to add the ship nameing and renameing in the game as a option. If we will not have that I don't think hero ships will be able to exist.
