  1. I guess that should have been the first thing i tried, but after reinstalling it i still get the same issue, i don't have any of the modifying programs set up, just a straight install. Oh and I made a typo with the error message, it should be "The application OR DLL file...." From what I gather its telling me it doesn't like the file thats actually on the cd, (F: is my cd-rom). Stupid comuter... I really wanted to play rebellion
  2. Well, I'm not a newbie, but this is seems to be the best place for my question. I used to play rebellion alot, then I upgraded my system to win 2000. I wanted to play it again so i installed it, and got the message: "The application of DLL f:\rebellion\textcomm.dll is not a valid windows image. Please check this against your installation diskette." I'm guessing it doesn't like Win 2000, is this the problem and can I get around it? btw - I already installed the patch thats listed on this site, Thanks for any help you can give, Rob oh yeah, after I hit ok on that message, it just loads to a black screen, and I must restart or log off and log back on, It's not listed in the task manager to end task it
