My TC starts before A New Hope and ends right as Thrawn comes to power.The characters I use are from Episode's 4-7.There is a AI stupidity that is driving me up the wall.In my TC Luke is not a known Jedi,so he has to meet up w/ Obi to realize the force.For some reason the AI refuses to move him from Yavin-any suggestions?

We probably should start a thread just for this game.What area should we post in?When the 1st player finishes the turn,just e-mail the saved file to the next player,since there is no place to post it here. Then post a summary of your turn-so everyone knows who's turn it is and the progress of the game.

After thinking about it-Scathane should get 1st pick-then its 1st come 1st serve on factions.He was the 1st to say he wanted to play.

Time to ante up-who is gonna play?You guys get 1st choice,Ill take the one not picked by anyone else.This doesnt have to be a marathon.Remember you only have to do a turn once every 5-7 days-and that only takes 30 minutes. If you dont know the game that well thats ok-buy the 5th turn or so you will .SO WHO WANTS DIBS ON PALPATINE ?

Its really a matter of opinion.I prefer Civ2.Civ3 offers 15 civilizations,but the military aspects are inferior to Civ 2.An entrenched archer can take out an armored unit in Civ 3 .Civ 2 stays within the parameters of reality. If you like Star Trek check out the Dominion Wars-really good. the scenario we should play I think is called Star Wars Insurrection.Unless you see a scenario that looks better Lord_La_forge.

Mr.TK421-I was talking about my mod dude.I know yours is set in the Thrawn period.I just wanted to say thanks for all that has been done for this game.

I appreciate the answer AndyHalfelf. My question is not that I want to change rank or command designation.It is that when I load a character card his name dissapears ONLY when I assign him a command position and the encyclopedia characters name shows up. When I first used RebEd I had no such problem i.e. the character that I loaded their name remained when I assigned them a command position.It was only after I started a second mod.

I just wanted to say thanks all.I had to blow the dust off this game but its been worth it.I finally got to play w/ Obi Wan and Boba Fett .Appreciate the hard work everyone.

Question for you pc experts.I installed a selfmade mod w/ RebEd.Worked great no problem.I then started another mod to play.Two problems occured. 1.-with two mods in the same folder w/ RebEd the characters can get stuck in the game files. 2.-and this is the one that really bugs me.When I load a card over an existing character,the encyclopedia characters name shows up when I give the new character a command position.For example,I am using Obi Wan.I assign him as a general,his name changes to General Narra. I have tried reinstalling the game,reloading the cards,rewriting the mod and deleting the 2nd mod.Suggestions or solutions please.

I am also good at editing the game Lord_La_forge. 1.ai dealmaking-I am wanting a human player game for the factions that have the important tech.So the ai cannot just give it to you. 2.You can fix the game so there is no negotiating at all if you want. 3.If you dont want certain techs tradeable-you can also do that. 4.You can set the game so agents cant steal tech if you want. I suggest you check out the scenario I am trying to put together-then make a decision when you have seen all the facts. I appreciate the time you gave for the comment sir.

Hey all, I would love to play online.I have played 10-12 games online.Always a blast.I would really like to try a game w/ some mods like,ObiWan,Boba Fett,etc. The only thing is guys,I play on slow most of the time[i enjoy seeing the game unfold].I can keep up just barely at medium but I miss many strategic decisions.I am a good player, just slow .If you have to play on medium or faster I cant do it.I think many players want to rush to the end of the game and miss most of it just trying to keep up.I realize it takes a long time to finish a game this way-but it will be the very best game you can play.You dont feel rushed to make decisions.You can truly put together a sound strategy. I am moving so I wont be available to play for abouy 3 weeks.If anyones up for it I am game.

Hopefully we can get 1 more.Thats all we need to play Scathane.The AI can play the rest.If someone wants to join later they can jump in where the Ai has played up to that point.

COOL-I was almost ready to give up on the idea.
