  1. I think Supreme Warlord (in the forums) goes above, Warlord . . . or maybe I'm wrong. ::walks into Scathane's room dressed as a Twi'lik nurse:: Sorry, sir, but Zoot made me do it.
  2. I never tried Belgian Waffles, are they any good? Congratulations on your promotion to Lieutenant Colonel (which is, relatively speaking, a demotion since Commander is higher than Lieutenant Colonel in reality)! Congratulations! (sorry, I can't and won't get over it )
  3. No, you were correct the first time colonel, same for you, lieutenants. Both of you sirs spelled confuse correct (one "s"). Err . . . okay, I went to C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Rebellion, but I can't find a .dll file. All I found were three folders (EData, GData, and SaveGame) and the following: DelisL1.isu, LEC Multiplayer Home Page, Readme, Readme, Rebexe, Register On-line, Register, Star Wars Rebellion Readme, Tsguide, Tsguide, Visit http://www.lucasarts.com, Website, and Zone. That's it! At the bottom I said to find All Files and that's what it turned up. Have I missed something?
  4. HAHAHA! How true! TK421, find your post!
  5. ::returns to the ground after being rescued by a passing Star Destroyer:: ::simply stands there looking at everyone with a funny/questioning look on his face::
  6. Not quite sure, to be 100% honest. On one side I want to be in the military, but on the other side I want to be a paleontologist. And I can't really make up my mind. Funny, huh?
  7. No, not Return of the Clones. It stands for Reserve Officer Training Corps. It's part of the U.S. Armed Forces (sort of) and trains personnel to become officers in the military outside the standard academies (i.e. West Point, Annapolis, etc). There are two forms of ROTC: college and high school level. The college level can be found around the whole of the U.S. and it, as I said, trains college students to one day be officers in the U.S. military (depending on which branch of ROTC you joined: ex: Navy ROTC will get you a Naval career, Army ROTC will get you an Army career, etc). The high school level is called JROTC or Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps. This program does not train high school students to become military officers, but instead teaches leadership, social, and personal skills for life through a military-based program.
  8. ::looks at TK421 and narrows eyes:: TK421, why aren't at your post? Sorry, I had to say that.
  9. "Yes, sir!" SOCL says with a salute and turns to leave, but suddenly stops and turns around, once again facing the colonel. "Yes, coporal?" the colonel asks. "What's the/an Anti-Catti grid?"
  10. I understand, colonel, that I am lacking in experience here. I shall do what I can to assist you and your forces, colonel, and shall not fall but remain stalwart and stand strong. ::salutes:: Allow me to assist you, colonel.
  11. . . . I guess I should start from step one. First off, I can't find the tactical.dll thingy. Where is it? As you can see, explaining this for me will take a very long time. Sorry.
  12. "I understand, Colonel, but I am still able to hold me own. The blaster to the head-thing was joke; sorry, sir." ::looks around:: Granted, he was rather odd . . . oh, it doesn't really matter because every time I say something it seems to be taken wrongly or misunderstood. Even so, no offense, but this whole thing about everyone expecting me to be scared so badly I wet myself is getting rather annoying. ::looks into the colonel's eyes:: I apologize for being so bold and rude, sir, but I speak the truth. I may be a mere corporal here, but in the units I have been in the past I have been a fleet admiral and in real life (in the ROTC program) I am a Major (which is quite high considering the highest you can achieve in this area is Lieutenant Colonel . . . a mere rank above Major . . . and I have been guaranteed promotion). To add to that, I have been a squad leader, platoon leader, company second in command (XO), company commander, battalion operations officer (third in command of over a little over 900 cadets . . . cadets being what all personnel, regardless of rank, are referred to in ROTC), and am as of this moment the battalion commander (in command of about 1000 cadets), the highest possible position at this moment. Rumor also has it I shall be brigade commander and be the first in this area to be promoted to full colonel, the highest achievable rank in ROTC. ::looks at Colonel Trejiuvanat and Commander Scathane:: Instead of thinking I am a mere newbie, utilize what I know to everyone's advantage. I don't mean to push my weight around or anything, but I am not a novice.
  13. :: puts blaster to own head :: Okay, I'm going to blow my brains out if no one explains what the hell is going on! . . . please.
  14. ::looks at Zoot , then to Scathane, then back again:: . . . what?
  15. I know what you mean. I was on a ski-lift this January (while snowboarding) with a friend of mine and a girl from Canada. We got to talking about our nationality and my friend said: "So, you're from Canada . . . ehh?" (of course, the "ehh" sounded like "a") The poor girl's smile ran from her face and started said: "When I was little, people used to make fun of me because of that . . . and it made me cry." I hadn't truly realized, until that day, how much that sort of thing hurt people. Since that day, I have vowed to not make such comments ever again.
  16. I'm sorry, Commander, could you run that one by me again? I didn't quite understand it. I'm quite sure Colonel Trejiuvanat didn't make fun of Canadians within the last few posts. Perhaps in the past, but not what I have read thus far.
  17. Well, it seems I'm going to have to prove that I am not the average cadet . . . because I've just been promoted to corporal (even though the insignia is wrong...sorry, can't get over that ). ::eyes Scathane:: I'm not frantic, simply curious. And no, I'm not trying to be big and macho about the whole situation, simply curious. So please . . . who's Zoot?
  18. Don't worry, wormie, I wasn't making fun of Canadians and, unless I read it wrong, neither was Trejiuvanat. No worries, ehh? Well, yes, politicians and lawyers to argue with facts . . . the point is that I'm not spewing out opinions I simply plcuk out of the air. Instead they're based on many, many, many facts.
  19. :: hand drops instinctivly to blaster :: Who's Zoot? Commander . . . err . . . Scathane, I may need some help on making the rank insignia small enough to be the same size as the current ones under use here. And no need to worry, I am a verteran of forums and military experiences. And I am always as respectful as possible, while still keeping my own. Plus, I'm not too worried about anyone . . . even so, I'd like to know about "Zoot". I guess I live up to the overly-respectful stereotype of a cadet, ehh? By the way, congratulations on your promotion Colonel Trejiuvanat.
  20. Well, I just hope that knowledge is public so that if anyone needs help with military accuracy or questions concerning the military, they'll come to me. I'll be more than willing to be the this forum's "Military Encylopedia". Also, so that everyone knows, I try to be as objective as possible, so most of what I post is fact . . . and you can't argue with facts, right?
  21. Well, Warlord Elvis, all this information is based off the idea that STAR WARS is indeed real . . . simply put: how would it be understood to us(?). I assure you, though that this ranking system is about as accurate as your going to find (as well as the insignia I could provide for all of them). I don't mean to be rude or cocky, sirs and ma'ams, for I know as a cadet I should keep fairly quiet, but I do know what I am talking about.
  22. Sorry, Commander Scathane, I had been merely joking. Yes, my father is currently in the U.S. Army, but has served in all the branches of the Armed Forces, including the U.S. Coast Guard. I also know what I know about the military (I know far more about it than just the ranks) because I write stories involving the military and have done extensive research on the matter. And not only am I quite informed about the U.S. Armed Forces, but that of many other countries.
  23. A quien le importa la otra gente? JAJAJA!! Okay, we'll write in English!
  25. I've downloaded the Resource Hacker, RebEd, and the tutorial . . . and I'm still lost. Yes, I read the tutorial, but it confused me, not say the information was bad, it's just I'm not very up to speed with the computer language. Let's just put it this way: I want to know how to replace the Imperial Assault Transport, the Star Galleon, and the Galleon with the Eclipse SSD, the SSSD, and the Golan III. Can someone help me, please?
