Hello I was wondering, is there a reason for the polycount on models? I was thinking about making higher poly models for soge. I'm currently unemployed so i have plenty of time and i got 3ds max 2012 and zbrush. Is there any hardcoded poly limits to this game or can i make 200.000 poly capital ship? I know this would drop the perfomance of the game, but i run a (almost) nasa computer my self so i would have no trouble running higher models, unless the engine is limited. I was thinking about makeing 2 versions, one medium called HD and one high end called XHD. Let me know what you think. Smokefin ps: Thanks for inviteing me to beta test.
