the_mask Posted November 24, 2003 Author Posted November 24, 2003 Ready for another one ? The Corellian Engineering Corporation YT-1300 freighter. I've promised that one to Elvis a long time ago, but without textures it didn't look that well. During this long time I found several other models, that were either too complex, or just didn't look that well. Finally, after finding this one and editing it in a few areas I'm finally satisfied with the looks of it. Btw, I sort of found a new host, but there are some things, that don't work yet a 100%. You can try directly through the http://kickme.to/woodsboro/ link or if that doesn't work, try http://woodsboro.gamhosting.com/rebellion/models/models.htm http://img147.imageshack.us/img147/5183/animated9pn.gifhttp://img146.imageshack.us/img146/1778/reloadedbannerdu8.gifhttp://www.swrebellion.com/images/banners/rebellionbanner02or6.gif
Trejiuvanat Posted November 26, 2003 Posted November 26, 2003 Quoting someone from a galaxy far far away:"You edited that wreck? You're braver than I thought!" WOO YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! http://www.swrebellion.com/~jahled/Trej/banner.gif
Ric Posted November 26, 2003 Posted November 26, 2003 Where can I find this ST A2 star wars mod?? I knew that there is one for ST A1 but I didn't know there was one until I downloaded the winged an it said creator of the ST A2 star wars mod. So please tell me where I can Download it. R2D2 Where are You.
the_mask Posted November 29, 2003 Author Posted November 29, 2003 Well Destro pointed me a long time ago to http://www.armadafleetcommand.com and at first I didn't think of checking, if these models would be easier to convert. So cheers go out to Destro as well for showing me that direction in the first place Most of the models are actually from XWA, but the unknown creator(s) of this Star Trek Armada 2 mod took it upon him-/themselves to cut the ~ 20 textures per XWA model down to a single one per model in their mod. And since upgrading to a newer version of my 3D prog, the way I found to create single textures myself doesn't seem to work anymore, I greatly welcome this alternative. http://img147.imageshack.us/img147/5183/animated9pn.gifhttp://img146.imageshack.us/img146/1778/reloadedbannerdu8.gifhttp://www.swrebellion.com/images/banners/rebellionbanner02or6.gif
Ric Posted November 30, 2003 Posted November 30, 2003 Thanks for your help Mask. I think I will have allot of fun with this MOD and I'm looking forward to more ship models for SWR. And cheers to Destro for showing you that place. R2D2 Where are You.
Jahled Posted December 1, 2003 Posted December 1, 2003 Well, your recent releases are perhaps some of the most refreashing and beautiful ingame models to date Mask, bro! The winged Mon Calamari cruiser is a shear joy to behold, and as an Imperial, absolute Nirvana to take on head to head and incinerate! Though I must confess to have built one or two myself as an Imperial. The millenium Falcon is superb; and now of course can give the game a very real authentic movie feel. The Corvette is sublime... pure and simple... Respect Mask. http://www.jahled.co.uk/smallmonkeywars.gif
Lord_La_forge Posted December 2, 2003 Posted December 2, 2003 Great to see these efforts!! I'm really impressed now, and gives me more motivation to keep Rebellion editing alive..Respect to our model creator!
the_mask Posted December 2, 2003 Author Posted December 2, 2003 Thanks But to be fair, I just converted them and edited bits here and there. The original guy, who converted the XWA models and the textures to the SWA format remains unknown. Btw, I'm preparing an Xmas package. So I hope you've all been nice this year http://img147.imageshack.us/img147/5183/animated9pn.gifhttp://img146.imageshack.us/img146/1778/reloadedbannerdu8.gifhttp://www.swrebellion.com/images/banners/rebellionbanner02or6.gif
Trejiuvanat Posted December 2, 2003 Posted December 2, 2003 Oh! I have been a very brave Veggie Vong this year. Yes, very brave. And nice. Do I get them on Nikolaustag instead of Christmas for being such a nice Vong? http://www.swrebellion.com/~jahled/Trej/banner.gif
the_mask Posted December 3, 2003 Author Posted December 3, 2003 Hmmm, if I have the time, I'll upload one at the Nikolaus day.Btw, what's that day, Dec. 6th called outside of German-speaking countries ? I don't have a clue at the moment http://img147.imageshack.us/img147/5183/animated9pn.gifhttp://img146.imageshack.us/img146/1778/reloadedbannerdu8.gifhttp://www.swrebellion.com/images/banners/rebellionbanner02or6.gif
Ric Posted December 3, 2003 Posted December 3, 2003 All riddy then. I'm looking forward to the x-mas present from Mask. And I don't know what Nikolaustag is, but it could be the same as what we in Holland call sinterklaas. And that's on Dec. the 5th. R2D2 Where are You.
the_mask Posted December 3, 2003 Author Posted December 3, 2003 Sinterklaas ? That sounds like Santa Clause Funny to see how some terms almost sound the same throughout most languages. But I'll have to stick to Dec 6th with the little gift guys. http://img147.imageshack.us/img147/5183/animated9pn.gifhttp://img146.imageshack.us/img146/1778/reloadedbannerdu8.gifhttp://www.swrebellion.com/images/banners/rebellionbanner02or6.gif
Trejiuvanat Posted December 4, 2003 Posted December 4, 2003 It's the Día de San Nicolas here in Costa Rica, but it's hardly celebrated at all. Gifts, etc. are given on Christmas... But I do remember those tasy chocolates I received when I was a kid in Germany... http://www.swrebellion.com/~jahled/Trej/banner.gif
Ric Posted December 5, 2003 Posted December 5, 2003 It's almost the same only sinterklaas doesn't have any elfs or what the hell their called, he has Zwarte Pieten, they help him bring the gifts to all the Children in Holland. And there are some more differences, like he rides a white horse and he come's by boat, lives in spain and so on. And we in holland also have x-mas, so we get gifts on the 5th and the 24th of dec. and lots of candie. R2D2 Where are You.
the_mask Posted December 5, 2003 Author Posted December 5, 2003 Oh yeah, I saw Zwarte Pieten last year in the news Trej, that chocolate still tastes good and you'll have the chance to relieve that experience again and again, once you start studying in Germany. Although being a student myself, I guess you might not have that much money to spend on chocolate, if I take my finances as an example http://img147.imageshack.us/img147/5183/animated9pn.gifhttp://img146.imageshack.us/img146/1778/reloadedbannerdu8.gifhttp://www.swrebellion.com/images/banners/rebellionbanner02or6.gif

In Costa Rica, years ago, the 6th of January was celebrated, with food and candies, etc. Except for Spain there are few spansihspeaking countries that do celebrate it. Although being a student myself, I guess you might not have that much money to spend on chocolate, if I take my finances as an example. I doubt my finances will be better. But a little bit of chocolate here and then... That's among the main things I miss of Germany: Rittersport! http://www.swrebellion.com/~jahled/Trej/banner.gif
the_mask Posted December 6, 2003 Author Posted December 6, 2003 Ritter Sport chocolate ? Actually there is a half finished piece atop my scanner right now. Wait a minute, is that miniature fly in my room a Vegetable Vong villip ? Well, it's after 00:00 AM here in Germany, so it's officially the 6th of decemeber. That means, Nikolaus day is officially there And so is the model I just uploaded, the Nebulon B frigate. Have fun, I'm gonna play some NFS - Underground now, until I'm too tired to steer straight Oh btw, my new host has updated something, so my site works now http://img147.imageshack.us/img147/5183/animated9pn.gifhttp://img146.imageshack.us/img146/1778/reloadedbannerdu8.gifhttp://www.swrebellion.com/images/banners/rebellionbanner02or6.gif
Trejiuvanat Posted December 6, 2003 Posted December 6, 2003 Trej contacts his villip, sending a command to go and hide and if possible bring the chocolate WOO YAY!!!! The Neb-B!!!!!!!!! It's nice that Nikolaus Tag starts here on December 6th at 6:00 pm! Too bad that I didn't think of checking the thread at that hour, instead here I am at midnight downloading a new model, anyway: THANKS MASK!!!!!! http://www.swrebellion.com/~jahled/Trej/banner.gif

In Jan. or feb. don't know exactly we in Holland celibrate Drie Koningen, This holliday is mostly for children and it's allot like Halloween except the topic is Three Kings (this is the Translation and has nothing to do with the Movie). Well, it's after 00:00 AM here in Germany, so it's officially the 6th of decemeber. That means, Nikolaus day is officially there And so is the model I just uploaded, the Nebulon B frigate. I'm looking forward to seeing it in action, that's wy i'm going to upload it right now. And Mask your doing great work and I would just like to say: Keep going at it. R2D2 Where are You.
the_mask Posted December 7, 2003 Author Posted December 7, 2003 Thanks guys, I was hoping that you'd like it. Trej, your villip fly is pretty fast, it just escaped my clasping hands. But at least I got the bit of chocolate back, it was trying to 'liberate' Btw, I forgot to add what I changed in the Nebulon B's texture: there was a red area at the bottom of the front, that always bothered me in the XWA model, since the ship in the movies doesn't look that way. Also I changed the engine glow from XWA's blue to the yellow tone, that we know from ESB. http://img147.imageshack.us/img147/5183/animated9pn.gifhttp://img146.imageshack.us/img146/1778/reloadedbannerdu8.gifhttp://www.swrebellion.com/images/banners/rebellionbanner02or6.gif

Ric Posted December 8, 2003 Posted December 8, 2003 Yep, that's it... Kinda... January 6th. This holliday has something to do with the Baby Jezus. And now that I'm talking about Baby's, we here in Holland have a new prinses, she was born on Dec. the 7th at 17.01 hour, and her name is still a mistery. Thanks guys, I was hoping that you'd like it. No problem Dude. R2D2 Where are You.
Trejiuvanat Posted December 10, 2003 Posted December 10, 2003 CONGRATS RIC!!!! The holiday is about the three Holy Kings who traveled much to bring Baby Jesus three gifts. One brought him myrrhe (sp?), inciense, and gold. http://www.swrebellion.com/~jahled/Trej/banner.gif
