Research Times

With RebEd, it's very easy to change research orders. However, this does not affect the research times of the ships/troops/buildings in question.

 

Is there a way to change the amount of research needed for the ship/troop/building? I can't seem to find any clear answer on the forums after searching for about an hour.

For fighters, troops and facilities there is only a research level (I am not 100% sure on facilities). For capital ships there is a research level AND a research difficulty. Unfortunately, RebEd does not access the research difficulty for capital ships. You can change this but you need a HEX editor and know where the data is located.

In case anyone is wondering, you can't access research with the SWRebellion Editor. So far as I can tell, you can't touch any aspect of research from that one.
