SW Rebellion / RebEd

I, i'm new in forum, i found today RebEd and i play at Rebellion long time, i have original CD's but i'm in Windows Seven x64 so, i do copy and all what you say in your tutorial for play at Rebellion correctly. So my question is : Can i use RebEd with this game coz don't full install just copy folder and .dll ? If i can use same How use ? I try to change value, but in game, nothing changed, please help.
