Computer Retard question regarding resource hacker

Since , for some reason , I cant see the tactical.dll file , can someone tell me which folder its lurking in the rebellion directory , Edata or Gdata? I can only find it by using search I copy it onto desktop , then mess with RH , then copy over the original in the correct folder , which ever one that is.

Also: when replacing ship models from the dl's from this site , I notice some have just one file with just an .x extention , while others have lots of .x files and also .bin files. what are the differences between the 2 and where do i put them?

Don't know if this is what you want, but open Windows Explorer, Tools/Folder Options menu. Then the View tab and open the Hidden Files folder, select "Show all files".

Right, as I just explained in the last post I found from you, concerning the problems with the model importer program

 

 

The .bin files are included, if the model (.x) has textures.

hey thx man , i can see the .dll now , but as iv explained in a post on the other board , i cant seem to make the new models show in the game , despite changing all the numbers , i even used masks import program , which works wonders , but the model still wount show in the game.grrrrrrrrr

ok , i deleted every trace of rebellion . then reinstalled. got it to work
