Minidumps 1.0E

Hi there. I keep on getting minidumps about an hour into any random game. I play SoSE Trinity, v1.50 of Entrenchment btw. Computer has 8gb ram, quadcore etc.

I noticed that there has been made a fix for this, could anyone tell me where I could find it?

 

I have unfortunately not been able to locate what is causing the minidumps. Only thing I can tell is that after I load a game after a minidump, the minidump appears at the exact same moment as before.

 

Despite that, this is truly the best mode I've ever seen for any game

I believe this is the solution you need:

Solution: When i started Entrenchment Dev i had an error message reltated to "BuffDomination". The same error message appeared before it crashed. To solve the problem i did following (i have no idea of modding sins - but this seems logical ):

 

1. Copy "BuffDomination.entity" from "/SinsDir/Entrenchment/GameInfo/"

to "SOGE/gameinfo/".

2. Edit "SOGE/entity.manifest"

2.1 Change EntityNameCount to 828

2.2 Add the line:

entityname "BuffDomination.entity"

 

This solved the problem.

I've did exactly as suggested:

Copied "BuffDomination.entity" from "/SinsDir/Entrenchment/GameInfo/"

to "SOGE/gameinfo/".

Edited "SOGE/entity.manifest" and changed EntityNameCount to 828 and added: entityname "BuffDomination.entity"

 

But once I try to load the mod in the game, I get a minidump.

 

I don't think that I did anything other than described above... Any idea what could be the reason?

No, wait a sec, I know what I did wrong, I didn't copy the BuffDomination-file from the Entrenchment info folder. NOW I have the right one...

AND OMG IT WORKS! NO MINIDUMP!!

 

NOW I'm gonna stay up all night playing!
