majorkururu Posted March 9, 2010 Posted March 9, 2010 Can anyone add in a super and hyper ship in next mod like this one http://s49.photobucket.com/albums/f252/CanisD/Shipyard/Drawings/SW/Allegience.png http://s49.photobucket.com/albums/f252/CanisD/Shipyard/Drawings/SW/SuperSDs.png http://s49.photobucket.com/albums/f252/CanisD/Shipyard/Drawings/SW/Sovereign.png http://s49.photobucket.com/albums/f252/CanisD/Shipyard/Drawings/SW/Eclipse.png http://s49.photobucket.com/albums/f252/CanisD/Shipyard/Drawings/SW/Imperium.png
majorkururu Posted March 9, 2010 Author Posted March 9, 2010 May i suggest the new planet mesh like city, swamp, industrial, oceanic and new bonuses. p.s try to use the star wars requiem mod
SWR Staff - Executive Evaders99 Posted March 9, 2010 SWR Staff - Executive Posted March 9, 2010 Half of these ships are fanon. This is strictly a canon mod (with some artistic license where necessary)NJO era is coming, which may have some upgraded ships. But don't expect every single silly superweapon. (that Imperium is just beyond belief) You're welcome to work on new planet types. No one has the time to implement them currently Evaders99http://swrebellion.com/images/banners/rebellionbanner02or6.gif Webmasterhttp://swrebellion.com/images/banners/swcicuserbar.png Administrator Fighting is terrible, but not as terrible as losing the will to fight.- SW:Rebellion Network - Evaders Squadron Coding -The cake is a lie.
X-File Posted March 9, 2010 Posted March 9, 2010 I have not any say in this mod whatsoever, but if it is not in the official Star Wars encyclopedia, it doesn't exist. Aside from all licensed material that is coming out since the release of the latest encylopedia edition that is. Like Clone Wars season 2 and beyond, and newly released comics/games/books. Also, why is there a size comparison for the USS Enterprise, mislabeled as an Enterprise class (should be Constitution class).
majorkururu Posted March 10, 2010 Author Posted March 10, 2010 Try to check the novel series. Imperium is only in blue print cuz the empire did have time to construct it cuz the emperor death. The sovereign is in between episode 5 and 6 when the rebel agent find the half finished ship. I forget the system where the ship constructed. The eclipse is constructed at the same time at kuat.
majorkururu Posted March 10, 2010 Author Posted March 10, 2010 BTW NJO is a separate mod or in the SOGE
SWR Staff - Executive Evaders99 Posted March 10, 2010 SWR Staff - Executive Posted March 10, 2010 Yes, we know about the Sovereign and the Eclipse. But the Imperium, Malevolent, Inquisitor Class are totally made up. Eville Jedi is one of the most knowledgeable guys on Star Wars ships. He knows what is canon and what is not. NJO era will be included in SOGE. It has not been released publicly. DarthTex Posted March 12, 2010 Posted March 12, 2010 Also, why is there a size comparison for the USS Enterprise, mislabeled as an Enterprise class (should be Constitution class). Most people refer to the "refitted" Enterprise (from the movies) as the Enterprise-class, as opposed to the "original" Constitution-class Enterprise. Why is it listed here? Maybe for comparison purposes, maybe to "rub in" the smaller size of Star Trek vessels (Freudian thing?). Finally, after years of hard work I am the Supreme Sith Warlord! Muwhahahaha!! What?? What do you mean "there's only two of us"?
majorkururu Posted March 15, 2010 Author Posted March 15, 2010 just want to show that star wars ship far more powerful and "bigger" than star trek
majorkururu Posted March 15, 2010 Author Posted March 15, 2010 star trek vessel would likely to "pop" after been hit by 1 shot from heavy turbolaser
quantum_dragon Posted June 12, 2010 Posted June 12, 2010 majorkururu star trek vessel would likely to "pop" after been hit by 1 shot from heavy turbolaser No, they would have to re-route all power from "Non-essential system" to the shields, and cut life support to send a signal to starfleet requesting permission to return fire, while waiting for updates on "New Prime Directive Protocol" relating to Galactic Empire interactions. Sorry.. couldn't help myself
X-File Posted June 28, 2010 Posted June 28, 2010 (edited) Most likely they would assign non-essential personnel to work at explosive terminals. Edited July 7, 2010 by X-File
quantum_dragon Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 LOL yea for sytems that are mostly touch screen, they have a nasty tendancy to explode don't they?
X-File Posted July 7, 2010 Posted July 7, 2010 Also, why is there a size comparison for the USS Enterprise, mislabeled as an Enterprise class (should be Constitution class). Well, I might be a Wars fan, but I also now my Trek. The Constitution Class is indeed the original Enterprise. However, the refit is simply known as the Constitution Class with the refit only mentioned in technical briefings. The Enterprise Class is a fan-fic designation, and referenced by the name -by mistake- in a Star Trek themed FASA RPG. It did come up during the production of the first and later motion pictures, but even Scotty had blueprints which just said Constitution Class which can be seen in one of the movies. Enterprise Class does refer to a type of Starship-Bridge simulator used by Starfleet. Most prominently seen in the second movie.
sloosecannon Posted December 26, 2010 Posted December 26, 2010 Yup... Just 'cause I can: 1701: Constitution1701-A: Constitution refit1701-B: Excelsior1701-C: Ambassador1701-D: Galaxy1701-E: Sovereign I hate it when people call it an "Enterprise" class! I agree with EV...The 3 "known" and "accepted" SSDs are:ExecutorSovereignand Eclipse That Imperium class is just impossible... how would they design that...if they DID design it, how would they BUILD it... that's obviously NR-era, meaning that the empire did NOT have infinite resourses Sins of a Galactic Empire Mod Team Staff
Renown Posted September 4, 2011 Posted September 4, 2011 The imperium is an actual design from the dark horse comic series, it was never built... but why should that stop anyone if they wanted to build it. Would kill balance but if they want it, maybe it could be created for them. Also, the Remnant is no where near are poor as individuals believe. I'm uh, a bit of a star wars nerd, but I'm also a realist. One planet, is able to build thousands of star destroyers. Why then, would several wealthy planets be unable to divert resources into something like this? In the end they only decided not to build any because of it's cost-effectiveness, not it's cost.
