Unofficial Minidump Hotfix for SoGE 1.0E

I made a hotfix for a bug that causes the game to crash. After fixing the game this way i could play over 40 hours without a single minidump. So if the game keeps crashing you may want to try this.

I have same problem. When I ran game in DEV mode, I've seen "Entity Ref not found: BuffDomination", and same thing shows up when game crashes ... : /

 

Could anyone please reupload this hotfix? Because I've did as instrunction says

"1. Copy "BuffDomination.entity" from "/SinsDir/Entrenchment/GameInfo/"

to "SOGE/gameinfo/".

 

2. Edit "SOGE/entity.manifest":

2.1 Change "EntityNameCount" to 828

2.2 Add the line:

entityname "BuffDomination.entity""

 

And yet, same error occures :/

I only tested it with the beta so you might want to sign up to get it and the fix

OK... let's re-write that...

 

1. Copy "BuffDomination.entity" from "/SinsDir/Entrenchment/GameInfo/"

to "SOGE/gameinfo/".

 

2. Edit "SOGE/entity.manifest":

2.1 Change "EntityNameCount" to ONE MORE THAN IT IS

 

2.2 Add the line:

entityname "BuffDomination.entity"

 

So go from:

EntityNameCount 832
EntityName "firstentity.entity"
EntityName "secondentity.entity"
...

 

to

 

EntityNameCount 833
EntityName "BuffDomination.entity"
...

 

Note that that number is not correct... I'm just making it up...

But do exactly like that... add 1 and put the line right below.
