Atma Posted February 10, 2010 Posted February 10, 2010 Let me start off by saying that I've been following for years and I'm a huge fan. Best mod for any game ever. The quality and effort put into warlords and SOGE is unmatched. In my opinion the developers even beat Lucasarts at their own game; I mean...Empire at War is a joke. In earlier versions access to the default races is allowed. Is there any way to enable this function with the current entrenchment version?

Atma Posted February 14, 2010 Author Posted February 14, 2010 Well I think I can live without the other races. However, I receive minidumps after about 2 hours into the game. The first time I received one, it was right after building a few ion cannons. Now when I receive them, I usually load the last save and cancel all in game activity and fast forward; yet despite this I still CTD. What could be the problem?
SWR Staff - Executive Evaders99 Posted February 14, 2010 SWR Staff - Executive Posted February 14, 2010 Yea minidumps don't help us any. Need to figure out exactly what was happening before it dumped. Was it a specific ability, ship, etc. If you do reproduce how this minidumps, then please report it to our bug trackerhttp://warlords.swrebellion.com/mantis/ Evaders99http://swrebellion.com/images/banners/rebellionbanner02or6.gif Webmasterhttp://swrebellion.com/images/banners/swcicuserbar.png Administrator Fighting is terrible, but not as terrible as losing the will to fight.- SW:Rebellion Network - Evaders Squadron Coding -The cake is a lie.
Atma Posted February 15, 2010 Author Posted February 15, 2010 Call it a hunch, but I think it has something to do with fighters. I rushed early in the game for Executor, so I could go AFK without losing my home planet; I did this just to see how long the game could run without a crash. About 30 minutes later I returned. Just then an MC80 came into my gravity well and launched fighters. The game crashed. Thankfully I saved minutes before this ship entered my gravity well. I reloaded the last save and instead of waiting around for the MC80 to once again enter my gravity well, I sent executor into the next gravity well (Where the MC80 came from) There were several MC80s, but none of them had their fighters launched. There was no crash during this skirmish. If it isn't a strike craft issue, then it must be a another problem occurring with the other races.
