Loading Mod Crash, Can anyone Help?

hi, i've just recently downloaded this game, and downloaded this Mod ( big star wars fan ), but i'm having trouble loading the mod.

 

i've tried loading it with 1.03, and 1.05, i install it into C:\Documents and settings\\Local Settings\Application Data\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\Mods folder, ( the readme says that there is a \\ path after mods, but i dont have those folders in there.

 

it lets me launch the game, i go to options, mod, mod shows up, i select and click enable, and the game crashes, and i get a C++ error ( Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library, to be exact)

 

its a Runtime Error!

my first time playing around with this game, any ideas?

SOGE version 0.90 requires Sins 1.15 or higher. It is not Entrenchment compatible.

okay, thanks, i'll try that.

 

what is this entechment thing i keep hearing, i'm trying to read up on it, but i havent got a full overveiw on it yet ( maybe once i get the hang of the game )

More or less, its a mini-expansion that adds starbases. You do not need it to run play SOGE (though many other mods may use it). Eventually there will be an Entrenchment version of SOGE, but the plan is to keep both a vanilla Sins and Entrenchment option.
