J_Flare Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 Hi there, folks! I've been a long time rebellion fan and just recently fell back in love with this game. I also just found out about RebEdit and thought I'd give it a go. The excellent tutorial walked me through making images, setting stats, finding the 'E', etc. But I'm still having a problem getting the changes to stick. I get the encyclopedia info and pictures looking just right but when I close the editing window nothing changes on the character that should have been edited. I'm running Windows XP Pro, did a full install of the game, and updated to 1.01. Am I missing something, or am I just doing something silly? Thanks in advance.

J_Flare Posted August 4, 2009 Author Posted August 4, 2009 Dang! I was hoping that was it but I checked and nothing is read only. I even tried forcing everything in the rebellion folder to read only then back just to make sure. I appreciate the advice though. And I'm glad to see that other people out there still play this old game. It's still a ton of fun for some reason.
Master_Xan Posted August 4, 2009 Posted August 4, 2009 If you import a card downloaded from the site here, do those changes stay put? Star Wars: Rebellion, A Field Manual"O be wise, what can I say more?"
J_Flare Posted August 6, 2009 Author Posted August 6, 2009 Woah! Ok, I'm not sure how this started working but here it is. I tried loading a card from this site and it wouldn't take. Actually I couldn't expand the window to the point that I could see the OK button but I tabbed till I landed on it (I guess). And it took the change. Then I tried tweaking another character like I did the first time and it worked! So now I guess I'm all good. The only other difference between then and today is the fact that I have the disc loaded. So again, I'm not sure why it's working but sometimes you just have to throw your hands up in victory and move on. Now I can pop the South Park kids and some Dark Forces characters in there to take down the Strudel Star. Thanks for the help!
