Skirmish problems

Hi,

 

I'm having problems with the Skirmish option. I don't understand why, i can get the Story to work fine, Although every few seconds an alert that an imperial probe is approaching pops up and i can't really get anything DONE. This is what i have on my Target for the shortcut.

 

"C:\Program Files\Sierra\Homeworld2\Bin\Release\Homeworld2.exe" -mod PLANETPACK.BIG,SWSOUND.BIG,SWMUSIC.BIG,GENHODS.BIG,SHIPHODS.BIG,CORE.BIG,OLDSHIPS.BIG -luatrace -hardwarecursor

 

I have tried creating a new profile but that doesn't work for me wither. i can get all the way to the point of universe. When i play as Alliance against Vong it gets one step farther than that and then also crashes to the desktop. I've looked in the other topics about this but i've picked up nothing useful. If anyone who has this working, or any Mods or administrators or anyone who worked on this could please help me i would greatly appretiate it, I'm very eager to play this mod.

yes, i've made sure that i have 1.1, and i've downloaded the most up-to-date files, as you can see in my target command line.  I'm sure i'm doing something wrong, but not sure what. The only thing i have in the folder that doesn't belong to the mod is Englishspeech.big, Englishspech2.big, music.big, and english.big. When when i remove those the game doesn't run. Although i've only tried removinbg them all at once. As i've stated before creating a new profile doens't help me. I'm running version 0.5 would getting .6 help any?
