Moff Taka Posted September 6, 2008 Posted September 6, 2008 Hello. I have an Idea for Warlord mods single player scenarios. I think warlord mods scenario and campaign should refer to old SW game "X-Wing v.s. TIE Fighter" and its addon soft "Balance of Power". Missions are included in these games is very wealthy examples of small engagements in the Galactic civil war era. That is very good examples not only missions but also mini campaign. These mini campaign contained by some mini engagements, for example, Empire sweep pirates, 1st mission is reconnaisance what player use few patrol ships, some fighter squadron and 1 or 2 colbet and capital ships(of cause their platforms).2nd mission is defended their platform by the pirete's attack. 3rd mission is counter attack and sweep the pirate's hidden base. In this stage, player can use Imperial fleet is contained Capital Ships also Star Destroyers. I want missions for Empire side. Not only rebel side... If any map editor are able to make mission for Warlord mods, I want to make the battles in SW universe, but Map editting for Warlord mods isn't clearly so I can't make missions...
SWR Staff - Executive Evaders99 Posted September 6, 2008 SWR Staff - Executive Posted September 6, 2008 While some of the scenarios could work, most involve rather small number of ships. Tying some of them together and adding numbers of ships could really help make it a decent mission. GrandMoffTarkin_warlords Posted October 15, 2008 Posted October 15, 2008 I like this idea..need any help? If you want some campaigns, there are plenty of potential missions in the books: The Thrawn Trilogy (some book, some book and The Last Command by Timothy Zhan) for example, has perhaps a good imperial campaign since, if i remember correctly, they arnt fighting defencive battles all the time. Using the books as a guidline we could create our missions to reflect some of the activities that occur. Besides who woudnt want to watch the battles described in the books?
