camera and map size

i'm hoping this belongs here.

 

i was wondering, when i play the skirmish, i have a little problem with the camera, it won't let me zoom all the way out like it does for the main Homworld 2 game. i find that a bit irritating because then i can't coordinate my fleets as good when i only have one ship filling my screen.

 

also, the maps seem a bit small, why is that?
