Chroniclez88 Posted June 5, 2008 Posted June 5, 2008 Ive tried everything and Im sure I installed it right it just won't find the correct path. To put it simply Im tired of trying to get it to work and I don't want help on this anymore. What I am now asking is that someone please just send me there Homeworld 2 folder with this mod installed already. I would really appreciate this since I can't get mine to work. Just to send over msn. Can someone please help me? My email is r_belisarius55@hotmail.com plzzz add me and send it. I would really appreciate it. Thanks...
SWR Staff - Executive Evaders99 Posted June 6, 2008 SWR Staff - Executive Posted June 6, 2008 You could try the Warlords 0.40 installer. That "should" create a valid link. Then you'll need to change the arguments to load the 0.60 files. No one is going to send you the HW2 files. You don't need it to get this mod working - and further it is probably close to warez. Chroniclez88 Posted June 8, 2008 Posted June 8, 2008 Ok so what is the installation path for the .40 version? And how would I change the Augements? Would I still have to change my path?

Chroniclez88 Posted June 13, 2008 Posted June 13, 2008 Why can't you make your own post? Coming in here to change the topic for your own little question.... This was my thread, can someone please answer my question? What is the path to install the .45 version? There is another way to get the new version after you have .45 installed, so what is the path? Akula go away dammit.
SWR Staff - Executive Evaders99 Posted June 13, 2008 SWR Staff - Executive Posted June 13, 2008 Be civil guys. All the instructions are there. Do you have a specific question relating to those instructions? We don't know where you actually installed Homeworld 2. You must have the correct path there The shortcut I use is D:\Games\Homeworld2\Bin\Release\Homeworld2.exe -mod PLANETPACK.Big,SWSOUND.Big,SWMUSIC.Big,GENHODS.Big,SHIPHODS.Big,CORE.Big -luatrace -hardwareCursor Try that, replacing the path to Homeworld2.exe with whatever yours is Evaders99http://swrebellion.com/images/banners/rebellionbanner02or6.gif Webmasterhttp://swrebellion.com/images/banners/swcicuserbar.png Administrator Fighting is terrible, but not as terrible as losing the will to fight.- SW:Rebellion Network - Evaders Squadron Coding -The cake is a lie.
Chroniclez88 Posted June 13, 2008 Posted June 13, 2008 Well this is my path that it did not let me change before "C:\Program Files\Sierra\Homeworld2\Bin\Release\Homeworld2.exe" Where would I install the .45 anyway?
Chroniclez88 Posted June 18, 2008 Posted June 18, 2008 anyone gonna reply to help me please? I really wanna play this mod!
SWR Staff - Executive Evaders99 Posted June 18, 2008 SWR Staff - Executive Posted June 18, 2008 Well you should be able to put the arguments after that path. I don't really know what the issue is -mod PLANETPACK.Big,SWSOUND.Big,SWMUSIC.Big,GENHODS.Big,SHIPHODS.Big,CORE.Big -luatrace -hardwareCursor Evaders99http://swrebellion.com/images/banners/rebellionbanner02or6.gif Webmasterhttp://swrebellion.com/images/banners/swcicuserbar.png Administrator Fighting is terrible, but not as terrible as losing the will to fight.- SW:Rebellion Network - Evaders Squadron Coding -The cake is a lie.
Chroniclez88 Posted July 6, 2008 Posted July 6, 2008 This is my problem and I HAVE a screenshot of it. Error whenever I put it in the target box and I have tried other variations also. Here it is. http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=151352528 This is a myspace profile I never used but the pic of the problem Im having is in my profile. CHECK IT OUT. If you are having problems seeing it just save it.
Chroniclez88 Posted July 6, 2008 Posted July 6, 2008 Ok Ignour that post I got the mod to work. It is because I have it installed through the Sierra path and I had to use that path way. My problem now is the game keeps crashing whenever I try to do a battle vs spu in skirmish where you select a map and teams. How do you fix this?
SWR Staff - Executive Evaders99 Posted July 7, 2008 SWR Staff - Executive Posted July 7, 2008 I believe its a bug with the Empire AI right now. Chroniclez88 Posted July 9, 2008 Posted July 9, 2008 So how would I fix this problem? I can't play skirmish
sirh0213 Posted April 30, 2009 Posted April 30, 2009 Ok, I managed to get the target line bit working fine. I upgraded to the 1.1 patch and I have downloaded the newest .Big files. The game loads, I see the Star Wars-titled missions in Player vs CPU (all 6P, ugh), however, whenever I go into ANY missions the regular HW2 ships show up. What the deuce?
SWR Staff - Executive Evaders99 Posted April 30, 2009 SWR Staff - Executive Posted April 30, 2009 This is skirmish only. The only missions are the test Hoth ones (loaded with a shortcut parameter) Evaders99http://swrebellion.com/images/banners/rebellionbanner02or6.gif Webmasterhttp://swrebellion.com/images/banners/swcicuserbar.png Administrator Fighting is terrible, but not as terrible as losing the will to fight.- SW:Rebellion Network - Evaders Squadron Coding -The cake is a lie.
sirh0213 Posted April 30, 2009 Posted April 30, 2009 This is skirmish only. The only missions are the test Hoth ones (loaded with a shortcut parameter) How to I load with the shortcut parameter? Also, I went to the "Hoth" skirmish map (the picture showed the planet), however, in game, I only saw my two ships (regular Hiigaran mothership and carrier) and the RU asteroids; NOTHING else. No planet, no stars, nothing.
SWR Staff - Executive Evaders99 Posted April 30, 2009 SWR Staff - Executive Posted April 30, 2009 If I remember correctly, its adding the parameter "-mission m01hoth" or something like that Evaders99http://swrebellion.com/images/banners/rebellionbanner02or6.gif Webmasterhttp://swrebellion.com/images/banners/swcicuserbar.png Administrator Fighting is terrible, but not as terrible as losing the will to fight.- SW:Rebellion Network - Evaders Squadron Coding -The cake is a lie.
sirh0213 Posted May 4, 2009 Posted May 4, 2009 If I remember correctly, its adding the parameter "-mission m01hoth" or something like that Ok... how/where to do I do this?

sirh0213 Posted May 4, 2009 Posted May 4, 2009 See: http://warlords.swrebellion.com/wp/?p=9 I have done all of that (there never were any "old" mod files; only the latest .Big files). The game has been patched to 1.1 prior to adding the .Big files. What I can't figure out is how/where to add the "-startinglevel Hoth01" & "-startinglevel Hoth02"
