Hey EvilleJedi, just posting here to check in.

 

Like I said I'm up for doing any 2d work you might need. Starting this weekend I could start with interface, icons, whatever needs doing basically. I may need a little heads up on files, how to edit them etc but other than that I think I'll be alright. Any material/reference/design examples you could give me would be helpful (though I do have the essential guide to vehicles and vessels, so anything that falls into that book I'm good for)

 

I'm also up for illustration if you absolutely need it. I was actually doing race portraits for a galciv 2 mod (seen here and here) but school hit, plus doing 8+ fully rendered portraits is a bit repetetive so I had to bail out. If you need it, I can do it, but depending on the size/# it might drag along.

 

Anyways, point out a direction :)

Sure thing. As far as I'm concerned if people aren't making profit on work I've done they can definitely use it. :)

Ok i have no experiance what so ever in anything but am willing to try making some voice overlays using Audacity (If possible i would like to send a sample so that you can see if it is worth putting in). I belive the timezome im in is GMT-4 (1:41am Friday 23 May at time of post)..will start work in a week, so i have alot of time before then and will have some time on most evenings thereafter. Have been testing the mod out on a really awful computer (all settings are at its lowest just so it wont crash) i, however, realise that the most usefull of what i can contribute will be ideas (see http://warlords.swrebellion.com/smf/index.php/topic,281.0.html). I am eager to learn and be usefull in anyway possible. Thank you for any consideration given.

Hi, id like to contribute if i can. First some backround on my , Im 23 i goto school at Illinois Institute of Art, BS in Game Art/Design Im concentrating on Level Design and Modeling. My experiance is in 3ds max 9, Unreal ED, Premiere and photoshop. I ahve some flash experiance but dislike it but could make buttons and such. I can model much that i come across and with an emphisis on keeping the poly count down, i am decent and textures but not my strongest point. I love Star Wars as well so it would be another plus, and i love SOSE. Im in Central time zone, Illinois. I work at night but if im given something to do i can do it because i will use it in my portfolio as well once i graduate.  So if you have any use for me let me know.

yea it was when i was doing a light and material study, so i found the game box layout, the insert and used it as my map. Then created the box and tweak some settings to get the overall look. Was very early on lol but very useful

Im also done with school for a month starting today, so all i do is work at night. Im def available to start helping today since i have the most amount of time now

Looks cool, I'm interested in starting work on a new project.. and I've always liked the idea of a new SW RTS.

 

Never done XML before, though heaps of X3D/VRML/Java/C++

 

At uni right now, doing graphics programming, through the semester I could allocate 8 hours a week, during exam time, I can't help at all. And during holidays (I'm in Australia so thats Nov-March) I can help pretty much every second night.

Well, if you're still looking for helpers, I can fix your spelling errors (you make a lot no offense). I don't know XML but I can probably pick it up quick. No experience with art/models/icons though so if that's what you need most I'm afraid I probably won't be much help. Oh yeah and I'm free most weeknights at least for an hour or two. Time zone GMT -6 (US Central).
