i dont know if it has anything to do with a 64bit OS, but as far as ive heard, im the only one thats active on the forums using one, and thats all ive changed since my last warlords install. this is .6. AA and AF are enabled through my control panel in these screens, but disabling them had no effect, so thats no the issue.

Last time something like this happened to me, it was a hardware related issue. The video card was dying and the motherboard was close behind it. If you've got Vista 64, I'd assume it's a relatively new computer...could be faulty hardware. Do you get anything like this in other games; speckles, lines, bleeding issues, polygons appearing a bit randomly?

nothing like that, and im using xp 64, not vista. way less background uselessness in xp. warlords is the only game that has an issue. i play world in conflict, rainbow six vegas, GRAW 1 and 2, crysis, fear, and whatever else, all fine. no artifacts, no lockups, no laggy graphics.

could be a video driver issue, I love how they always waffle on support of features and seem to break stuff with each update

Ok I figured out it is driver related as the issues I stated I had went away with the updated drivers but then I started getting the same issues with with explosions an asteroids as Shadowlegion421 so now I'm going to try out older drivers maby that'll work out better. :D

Ok reverting back to older drivers did actually work to remove both the astroid and explosion issues and fixed my engine problems, so using older drivers should work in most cases. :D

I upgraded my drivers and ran into the issue, so going back to older ones, unfortunately I think the newer drivers actually look better in other circumstances and fixed some shader bugs as well

what I get with the newest drivers is banding on asteroids and on sphere burst explosions
