Immediate Crash

Ok. I've been irresponsibly lured by the great video and screenshots, but try as I might I cannot get this to run.

 

I have put all the .big files in the Sierra\Homeworld2\Data folder with the other .big files

 

I have also edited the 'Target' line to read (copies from the Target box): "C:\Program Files\Sierra\Homeworld2\Bin\Release\Homeworld2.exe" -mod Planetpack.Big,SWSOUND.Big,SWMUSIC.Big,GENHODS.Big,PLATHODS.Big,IMPHODS.Big,REBHODS.Big,PIRHODS.Big,CORE.Big,SP.Big -luatrace -hardwareCursor

 

I have uninstalled so many times now I have my CD Key memorized. I uninstalled, reinstalled, applid the 1.1 Patch, then put the .big files in the Data folder and edited the target line of the shortcut. But every time I try to start the game I don't even get to the Vivendi Universal video. It goes black, the HW2 cursor come up and about a second later it crashes to the desktop. I have tried everything I can think of short of wiping my harddrive! Any ideas?

 

By the way, I can run HW2 (without the mod) just fine so I can't imagine it's my system. What might I be doing wrong?

also try loading just the planet pack (remove the other .big files) then try planetpack + the sound files and music, also try it without the SP.big it is possible one of the download files was corrupt so check the file size vs the website
