I found an old post that talked about changing the names of characters and the text displayed when they are in command. An example:

 

Name-->Han Solo

Adm-->Vice Admiral Solo

Gen-->General Solo

Cmdr-->Commodore Solo

 

I was wondering if anyone had the locations for the words "Command, Admiral, General, Commander" in the character dropdown menu. I want to change these words.

 

Command-->Assignment

Admiral-->Admiralty

General-->Ground Forces

Commander-->Starfighter Corp

[Ouranos]

Open TEXTSTRA.DLL with the Resource Hacker and then you browse the first shettes. In the middle of it you can find a place to change this but be careful you have yo change it for each time it appears in the game (right-click menu, status , ...)

These locations also can be used to change names for characters and the length of their name.
